Rimmel 100% Waterproof Mascara

...less not more. This Rimmel mascara does apply well, and dries quickly. It darkens my fair eye lashes wonderfully and it does not clog them up. The smaller end of the wand is useful to get those delicate outer lashes and there are no lumps of mascara left on your lashes. ...is one of a few Rimmel mascaras they have "invented" to try to keep up with the rest of the make-up market. Well, they should leave mascara to the rest of the market for sure in my opinion! The mascara is extremely off putting in every way. It comes in a brightly coloured blue tube, with silver lettering on it, which is quite attractive and inviting. There is a choice of colours, the usual blue, black and brown and it only costs about £2.99, which is reasonably cheap for a mascara especially a well know brand like Rimmel. What can I say? Another wonderful mascara by Rimmel! Definitely 100% waterproof as it claims, so you're in no worry of a mascara run! But at the same time it is easy to remove with face wipes when you're done. The brush reminds me very much of BeneFit's 'Bad Gal Lash' - big and bulky, therefore easy to apply, but it's a much cheaper product than 'Bad Gal Lash'! The mascara is one of those that lasts a long time and doesn't dry up for much longer ...
...for a bit longer if you're running low on cash. The only downside is that it doesn't let my eyelashes get as 'full' as other mascaras - which may or may not happen to yourself but is a possibility it may happen. Even so, I still find it a good mascara! Therefore I recommend it to others. ...

This is a really nice mascara to use, as it doesn't clump up your eyelashes or smudge. Once the mascara has dried properly, it will only flake off if you rub your eyes, and if done by accident, you can just brush it off your face without making too much of a mess. Because it's so waterproof, you will need a good eye makeup remover to get it off. Using "makeup remover face wipes" doesn't work very well, because there isn't enough liquid there to wash ...

...I am a fan of Rimmel make up anyway and was looking for something that would stay in place on a rainy Saturday night. (Well, I am from North Wales, so chances are it's going to rain.) That was my main requirement anyway, if it made my eyes look a little bit more 'Come-To-Bed' rather than 'I-Need-My-Bed' all the better. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It gave my lashes a lovely coverage, the thick wand separated the lashes and lengthened ...
...other lengthening mascaras in the Rimmel range and have to say they are nowhere near as good. My eyes are quite sensitive too, and found that this product did not irritate them at all, even though I left my make up on in bed (Yes, I know, I shouldn't!) And to be honest I found there wasn't much smudging when I woke up. Even after the not unexpected rain shower my mascara had not run under my eyes whereas I usually end up looking like Dusty Springfield's ...

...this wasn't the case with Rimmel 100% Waterproof Mascara. It was waterproof though, and even in the rain did not run. But I have one complaint - it started to flake after a few hours, and had little black flakes under my eyes and on my cheeks - very attractive! Fair enough, it lived up to it's waterproof name, but is very, very basic. If you have already curly, thick lashes then this will do the job, but if you have straight, spidery eyelashes ...
