What nice skin you have

Advantages: price,availability,effectiveness
Disadvantages: none

*** About the product *** Rimmel's 'Hide the blemish' concealer has been around for quite a few years now and is widely used by many women. It comes in stick form, has a creamy texture and it works well to hide any skin imperfections, leaving a smooth, clear appearance. It comes in four different shades that I know of and those are: * Ivory (001) * Sand (002) * Soft Honey (003) * Neutral Beige (004) The one I use is the 'Ivory' shade. *** ...
...on any skin imperfections you may have such as dark circles under the eyes, skin redness or spots. Absolutely anything you are conscious of, simply cover it up. Still confused? Well here's a little simple guide to help you. 1) Taking the concealer stick, simply find your imperfections and draw over them with it. If it's a spot, glide the stick over it. If it's a redness patch, colour over it with it. 2) Next just rub in the patch of concealer using ...

Concealer hardly Covers up

Advantages: Can reduce redness and some discolouration on skin
Disadvantages: has a hard time concealing bad spots, big blemishes and dark circles

Rimmel is always a big name in beauty so I did expect a lot from this concealer, but although it works well for some things there are bits that I wasn't too impressed with. ***What it Claims to do*** On the lid Rimmel state that this concealer can "effectively conceal spots, blemishes and under-eye circles". On the Rimmel website they also say that the concealer is "A creamy concealer stick that blends to camouflage dark circles and blemishes. ...
...shades only, I have mine in Ivory. ***Can it cover Spots?*** It can lighten the colour of your spots and make them less noticable but doesn't conceal them completely. Because it's so creamy, the concealer can be easily rubbed off when applied with other make-up such as foundation so always but your concealer on after you've applied your base. Don't get high hopes that this will cover that big red spot that appeared over night, it will only reduce ...

Hide the Blemish

Advantages: good coverage, easy to apply, long lasting
Disadvantages: thick product not good for delicate skin

I bought this foundation following a recomendation from a friend, as i was looking for something to cover up any dark areas under my eyes to make myself look more awake and fresh. The product cost around £4 from Tesco, which seemed like a fair price as it does last quite a long time. (obviously depending on what you use it for) It comes in a stick with the same kind of design as a lip balm stick. The tube itself if mostly ivory, with a black base. ...
...for carrying around in a handbag or purse for top-ups. I bought the lightest shade, to combat my dark areas an found that it provided good coverage, was a nice shade and really provided the effect that I was looking for. I use it sometimes on my undereye area underneath foundation and was pleased to find that it went well underneath the foundation and provided a nice surface to work with other make up on. As i mentioned before, I did find the product ...

...to present to you........... Rimmel - hide the blemish I first discovered this product many moons ago in my school days when spots were a huge pain in the backside (blimming puberty eh?) All my friends had it, so I persuded my mum to buy me one, which thankfully she did and I still use it to this day. The product comes in the same packaging as a standard lipstick, cover over the top of the twist up/down stick, the top cover is beige with the ...

How to Use: I tend to use this before application of make-up, i.e. blusher, I simply roll the stick up apply onto the area I want covered, you can add as little or as much as you like, depending on the size of the dreaded zit and gently rub it in with your fingertips. ...

Hides blemishes.. but can cause premature aging.

Advantages: Covers blemishes and spots very well. Also very compact.
Disadvantages: Could potentially cause premature aging around the eye area and drags the skin.

I was given this Rimmel Hide The Blemish concealer by my mum because she had purchased it from Boots and it came out a bit pale on her skin. I have quite fair skin but I still find it quite pale. I use it along with my normal Boots No7 concealer in a darker colour because you get a more natural look if you use the two shades together. The lighter (Rimmel) one is good for dark circles and for highlighting the light areas around your eyes because these ...
...face. I then use it again as a base to prevent shine on general spots and blemishes around my chin and forehead etc, but then have to put a bit of my No7 on on top just to make the colour a bit darker. It's very compact and portable in it's little lip stick shaped stick and although the lid doesn't screw off (it just pops off), it's still very secure and will survive being knocked around in your bag all day. Price wise, it's quite reasonable at about ...

Advantages: hides circles
Disadvantages: makes dry skin worse

...completely honest. **The brand** Rimmel is quite a cheap make up brand which i don't have very much of apart from the odd bottle of nail polish and this. I tend to think of it as old fashioned for the reason that it is the brand my mum usually uses. According to the boots website this comes in four different shades but i have seen more. The packaging for this is the same shape and size of a lipstick tube and it costs around £3.90 which is cheap for ...
...under my eyes and hides the dark circles BUT i tend to have dry skin so if i want to cover anything else it just makes it worse. One of these lasts me quite a long time but i suppose it depends on how much you want to cover up and how often you use it. Overall this isn't my favourite concealer but it is fine for the price and i think it will work on people better who do not have dry skin. Dooyoo and ciao xx ...

Does NOT hide the blemish

Advantages: does cover blemishes
Disadvantages: comes off easily

Every opinion that i have read about this product is good, well i am not going to follow the trend, as i feel that this product is not a good buy, and i would rather spend that few extra quid and get a more expensive, but more effective product. This product is cheap at £1.99, and lives up to its cheap price and does not give good results like the other concealors that i have tried in my time. The label claims it: "effectively conceals spots, ...
...this. To its credit there are a range of shades avaliable to suit most peoples skin tone, and also when a lot of the product is applied, under eye circles do fade considerably, and it covers blemishes well. BUT the product is clearly visible when first applied, and within an hour half of the concealor has come off. When you touch your face, half the concealor comes off, leaving more on your hands than on your face where you need it! The concealor ...

Cheap At Half The Price

Advantages: Hides dark rings around the eyes, conceals spots
Disadvantages: A little heavy

Having tried to hide the black rings around my eyes with many more expensive products such as YSL Radiant Touch and Clinique's concealer, I still revert to my trusty old favourite of Rimmel's Hide The Blemish As well as being excellent to use around the eyes I first used it for hiding those spots that always seem to appear at the worst possible time. The packaging is cheap and cheerful. It is in a lipstick like container and the best way to apply ...

I did try a brush at one time but there's nothing like your good old fingers for maximum blending! It comes in several shades and I tend to find the sand one being most effective around the eyes and a slightly darker one for hiding the zits (the shade depending ...

That includes superdrug, boots, asda, tesco, ebay etc etc! *IT LOOKS A BIT BORING* As the subheading to this section states, it looks a bit boring. I always prefer things when they are pink as opposed to beige, I don't know why! *WHAT'S THE PRICE LIKE?* Expect to pay between £2 and £4 depending on where you got it from. ...with medical make-up and not Rimmel but I have had enough blemishes to share my experience with concealer with the world! I bought this Rimmel concealer from Boots for about £2-£3, I can't say a specific price because it was so long ago I bought it. This just proves to you that this concealer lasts and lasts! Not only does it work on blemishes, I use it once or twice a day under my eyes to brighten my face up a bit and God does it work! Cheap and very useful

Advantages: cheap, covers blemishes very well
Disadvantages: you have to blend it so you don't get a ring

Rimmel Coverstick is one thing I couldn't do without when it comes to makeup. Now I'm not one of those who spends hours each day putting makeup on but I do tend to have a 'spotty' skin. It will break out in little spots at the least provocation. This coverstick comes in several different shades and I find that the lightest one suits my colouring. It is very easy to use. ...If you do get a darker ring round the edge of the spot that makes it look worse you need to blend the makeup in. Dampen your finger very slightly (perfectly clean finger, of course) and gently blend in the edges. This is where the addition of a very light covering of foundation comes in handy. I also find it excellent for putting under foundation. Just blend it into the areas you want covered and put your foundation cream on top. This is so cheap ...

Now You See It... Now You Dont

Advantages: Great coverage, good colours
Disadvantages: price has gone up

Rimmel hide the blemish is amazing stuff. It's the only concealer I can find that is actually the right colour for my skin- nice and pale! I'm always getting spots, and this is the only way of covering them up. If I use any other type of concealer it will simply either come off, or leave dark patches on my skin, which only enhances the spot or blemish. The Concealer actually helps to get rid of the spot as well! It dried it out until it goes away. ...

Great value for money

Advantages: Range of colours and price
Disadvantages: None

The Rimmel hide the blemish stick, is just that a stick concealer. It is great value for money and comes in a great range of shades, even one for me and I normally have difficulty as I have very fair skin. It comes the odd blemish well, I often just use a touch instead of fountain. it glides on easily and blends in well. It is also great at covering up dark circles. Rimmel make-up is available in Boots, Superdrug and loads of smaller chemists and Hide the Blemish costs roughly £2.99.
