Its got a slight shimmer to it, so you can see how its being applied, and you can see which bits need rubbing in a bit more because if you don't rub it in properly it will streak quite badly. You can see the results after half an hour or so, but even before the half hour you have a slight tint to the skin so you can see it's working straight away. It washes off easily, which can be a good thing, as if you don't like it you can wipe it off straight ...
