Advantages Looks good, reasonably priced, widely available.
Disadvantages Feels sticky when applied, doesn't last long, tastes horrible.

Still laid up at home after my operation I have decided to write about this product. I am really bored now having been laid up for three weeks and have still got another four weeks to go. If I had to choose between lip gloss and lip stick, I'm pretty much always going to choose lipstick. Perhaps the lipstick will have a clear gloss over the top, but as far as achieving colour is concerned, I much prefer lip stick. However last week I decided to buy a new lip gloss as I was struggling to find a certain shade of lipstick. Luckily I found exactly what I was looking for when I approached the Rimmel collection. Rimmel's Vinyl gloss claims that it delivers a 'brilliant high gloss lasting shine which conditions & moisturises' as well as it being a 'lightweight, non-sticky formula'. When I saw the description in Superdrug, I thought to myself 'Huzzah - a cheap lip gloss which actually looks ok!' Feeling rather smug with myself (it was on offer at the time) with my new purchase I opened it to begin an inspection, only to receive a slight disappointment. Well, here is a pleasant surprise! A lip gloss that actually does gloss. Now I know that the fellahs are groaning are thinking "God, how shallow are women?" but things like this really matter to a girl. And they matter to you too, if you'd but admit it. Imagine Pamela Anderson sexily smiling at you from across the room. Looks good, doesn't it? Then just imagine how much more seductive the whole scene becomes, if her pout is glistening into the bargain. It makes her lips look plump, moist and infinitely more attractive. Advantages Glossy, Good Value, Great Colour Choice
Disadvantages Fades too quickly

I have recently purchased a tube of Rimmel Vinyl Gloss from my local Boots and being that the item was priced at £3.99 I considered this a good purchase given the fact that a number of lip glosses can be considerably more. I am a big fan of Rimmel products, being that they offer good quality and up to date looks for a cut of some more costly brands and was keen to try out my new purchase. Advantages Lots of colours, sculpting applicator, smells lovely, nice, simple packaging, Lasts ages
Disadvantages Slightly pricey for me. can get sticky if too much is used, needs to be reapplied

Packaging The packaging is nice and simple; the tube is clear so shows the colour of the gloss, and the writing is in silver. I myself like the simple packaging because it is easy to find in a shop and stands out in my rather cluttered makeup bag. I know All of the guys who trust me will be moaning because most of what I write about is health and Beauty, but most of my op writing comes from things I use everyday, and although I don’t put it on with a trowel, I use make-up everyday. I thought I would try this lipgloss as it was only £3.99 from Boots. I usually buy lipglosses that are around the £8 mark but as money is a bit tight I thought I would see if a cheaper brand works just as well. The gloss comes in many colours, but I chose 145 cosmic which is a browny colour. The gloss comes in a see through plastic tube with a lid that has a sponge applicator on it. It is really easy to apply unlike some of the glosses that have brushes as I find the sponge makes application smoother and easier especially without a mirror!
