Advantages Advantages Eyes seemed less wrinkly.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Felt the skin was getting more sensitive

I'm always on the look out for the perfect facecream which will magically transform my skin and get rid of all its bad bits (bags, rapidly growing crows feet etc) and so on my quest I came across ROC Retin-Ox Correction which seemed to promise everything except a cup of tea. The main incentive for buying this particular cream was the extensive ad campaign which ROC lauched for the promotion of this product. The woman in the advert said something about 'I'm 43-surprised?' Thinking back now though, she actually did look her age more or less so what convinced me this would work I really don't ... more

Advantages Advantages few- no allergic reaction

Disadvantages Disadvantages disappointing- mean size tubes, expensive

I had read about it, heard the ads on TV and decided I would try it as a special treat. It cost more than three times as much as what I usually use for night cream and eye cream, and anti cellulite (had not tried that before) The promise seemed to be that if you use the products for a number of weeks, you will look younger (slimmer) at the end of the period. Sadly the anti cellulite cream (used on underarms and thighs and mid back sparingly) did not last long enough to complete the test. I wonder how many cans I would require to last a full eight weeks and use night and morning on all areas ... more

    Advantages Advantages It really works

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not within everyones price range

The important thing about RoC Retin-Ox Correctiom (in fact, all RoC products) is perseverence. No one should reasonably expect instant results, but we do unfortunately live in a society where instant gratification is not soon enough. I have been using this particular RoC product, along with the rest of the face care range, for over 5 years and I will never consider using another product. It took about 3 months before I began to notice some improvements and it has without doubt not only slowed down the wrinkly process that is inevitable with age, it has improved my skin. My sister lives in ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Stings, causes redness and puffiness, expensive

I bought a tube of RoC Retin-ox Multi-Correxion Creme for the eyes last week in Sainsbury's. At £19.95 it was expensive, but at 35 I thought what price to try and preserve your 'youth' as long as possible! I was taken in by the recent run of adverts which promised that users will 'look 10 years younger' and that RoC 'keep their promises'. I was disappointed. I had applied the cream for the first time as directed, dabbing gently around the eye countours, before going to bed. On waking next morning I glanced in the mirror and to my horror my eyes were red, puffy and swollen. I looked like I had ... more

    Advantages Advantages none

Disadvantages Disadvantages de-hydrates, burns skin and smells foul

Having seen the hyped up ad on the t.v. about the new wonder skin care range from RoC that promises to make you look ten years younger and wrinkle free I decided to investigate further - there's always one isn't there? Boots had a great deal on - buy two get one free on a whole range of products including the Retin-OX Correxion products which made me think I was getting something of a bargain hence I ended up with three tubes of the cream, night, day and an extra day one for luck. My first reaction to using the day cream was that it took a long time for the cream to sink in. The night cream ... more

I bought this cream after reading about it in a magazine and I don't know how they could have given it such a good review. In fact, I don't know how they can even sell it! After using it for a few days my skin became dry and red and very sensitive (which it has never been before) I carried on for a few days to see if my skin settled down but it got so bad and hurt so much my partner binned it!

Disadvantages Disadvantages irritates the skin, smells awful

I found the Roc Retin-Ox Multi Correxion Eyes cream on amazon.com. i hread a lot of mixed reviews about the "wonder' of this product.i used to have puff eyes so the loose skin below my eyes are giving out to fine lines (im in my 20's).and this is scary for me.But being so curious and obsessed with erasing and stopping the formation of wrinkles below my eyes,i bought this product..The first time i used it,i felt some burnign sensation...but ah, i thought maybe that was the first time reaction my skin was experiencing so i sucked it in.I should have washed it off my face i returned it the next ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Burning, sore skin

Luckily I have good skin, but when I saw this cream advertised I decided to try it. I was using it for 4 days, but then noticed my skin became blotchy, red and sore with raised red lumps across my cheekbone area. I have never suffered from sensitive skin before, but now my face is really sore and covered in bumps. At £24.99 for a tiny tube I felt very upset and decided to take it back to where I purchased it. The shop told me that they have had several tubes returned from people suffering the same reaction. I am going to try antihistamines to try and clear my skin and hope my face will return ... more

my experience with this product was fine the lady at the pharmacy where i got it explained to me that you use it daily for about a week sparingly then slow the usage down to about 3 times a week so no over exposure to the product so maybe the poorer ratings on this product could be put down to not being given enough information from there sellers

    Disadvantages Disadvantages burns skin

I have always been lucky enough to have normal skin that has never sensitive to anything I inflict on it...however after two nights of using this product I decided to stop, mainly due to the smell...horrible..smelt like damp towels, however the next morning my skin started to peel and I developed a rash across my nose and the top of my cheeks (I looked like a Red Indian!!). It then became very raised, very red and stung like mad. A week later my skin is still not right and feels very sensitive and sore. Makeup does not hide it completely..and anyway it hurts to put anything other than E45 ... more
