I needed to replace my high street brand of serum [No 7] and have used ROC products in the past - to good effect. I saw the Retin OX serum advertised and tried it.
The serum was light and had a good texture but, on first opening, it also had a very strange smell. I thought that might go away with wear - and so tried it. I'm afraid the smell stayed. The scent was ... ...and on the last two times - washed it off. Thus rather missing the point of using a serum...
So awful was the scent, that I sent back the product to the manufacturers in case something had happened in the manufacture. I wait to hear.
No matter how effective a product is, if you can't abide the smell - then it is useless. Sad because other [main] ROC products are generally good. This was my first trial of the Retin OX range - and the experience ...
