Ive had this unit for over a year and it worked flawlessly in that time.But gradually it took longer and longer to find the satellite upto 25 mins in fact to display my speed.Paid £40 to have it repaired worked ok for a few weeks but is now taking longer and longer to display speed.As previous reviewer i can see now why so many of these units are for sale refurbished.Dont buy them they will only work for a short time then fail.Im trying to get my ...

Review of Road Angel Compact

I purchased the compact about 5 months ago and so far it has been repaired and replaced, all to no avail. The unit worked fantastically for about a month then began to take longer and longer to initialse and to display the speed. The it stopped working alltogether. After repairing it, postage was at my expense, it worked for 3 days then began to take a long time to initialse and also alternated between not displaying a speed, 0 or M, then the speed ...
...need it as a warning device. The unit has been replaced and is still suffering the same problems. I also purchased the optional laser detector, which only works after you have been shot with a laser device, again no use as an early warning. I am now attempting to obtain a refund. It promised so much and when working was really good. Now I know why there are so many reconditioned units for sale on the web ...
