Advantages Advantages Huge talent, determined, something for everyone, cheeky grin, I could go on

    Disadvantages Disadvantages cons??? With Robbie??????

O.k. I'll admit it, I am a big Robbie fan, and as I sit here listening to Rock DJ and writing this, I realise I am probably more than a bit biased towards him. Even if you don't like Robbie though, you have to have noticed that he is something of an icon. Way back in his Take That days, few realised his talent. Although the band was incredibly popular, he never took on the role of lead singer and remained in the background to an extent. When the band split, therefore, few thought of Robbie as the one who would go on to pursue the most celebrated solo artist of the band. After the split Robbie ... more

Advantages Advantages His music is really good

    Disadvantages Disadvantages He is cocky

I have decided that I really like Robbie Williams. He is really cool. He might be a bit cocky, but he just has a lot of confidence. Good on him. I loved the video to “I don’t want to rock”. I love the song also. The new music video is funny but it isn’t anywhere near as good as the one that was banned, his old one. I love his new song with Kylie. I like the music video to that song also, Kids. Even if I am not to keen on Kylie I think they work well together. Robbie Williams we love you babe. ... more

Advantages Advantages Brill singer, good mover and good sex symbol............

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none...........

Robbie Williams has been solo in the UK for 3 years. Once the rebel of the teen boy-band 'Take That' (who fell apart after he left), his debut album stunned all critics. How did such an amazing performer come from an all-boy band of mindless pop-pulp?. This young lad comes from Burslem in Stoke-on-Trent, which is weird but i live in Stoke-on-Trent and am mad on this man as he is definetly a man, as us women know. Robbie Williams has a talent that defies easy labels. He has a penchant for anthems, and has created a whole range of anthems in various styles. The racy and lovable 'Let Me Entertain ... more

    Advantages Advantages It's Robbie

Disadvantages Disadvantages much of a muchness?

Robbie's music has a certain quality which makes it appeal to a wide range of people, and I was one of the sceptics who thought that ex Take That members should be avoided like the plague, fortunately I didn't manage to stay away for long. This lad has managed to build a unique sound of his own, packed with attitude and flair. It's allowed him to change the direction from the good 'ol Take That days, which in my book is NOT a bad thing. And he can actually sing which he proves on the classic anthem 'Angels' to which 75% of our nation know the words! Life thru a lens(1997) is his best album so ... more

    Advantages Advantages Talent

Disadvantages Disadvantages the image is enduring but a little dodgy

Robbie left take that and the world thought that he was finished but the guy has proved them wrong. Surely he now has earned the right to be the only artist in todays batch who can hold up their heads with greats from the past. He actually writes new material rather than sample a seventies band, he performs on stage like the masters of all time Mick Jagger and David Bowie and puts on a show rather than a choreographed routine. He has an image that now is enduring and he has released some damn fine songs. I am a little sick of people linking him with the likes of boysown and co he is an ... more

    Advantages Advantages Keeps you moving

Disadvantages Disadvantages a couple of b-sides

"Sing While You're Winning" is yet another beautiful masterpiece by the king of ego and Brit pop. Robbie's solo European albums, "Life Thru a Lens" (which contained the smash anthem "Angels") and "I've Been Expecting You" were combined for American audiences in the album "The Ego has Landed." And did he ever land straight on my heart. Behind his sly grin and piercing blue eyes is a lyrical genius and supreme showman. Seeing him in concert was a truly amazing experience and I just wish his success in America was more substantial so that he would return to tour there again. The fact that he's ... more

    Advantages Advantages not a "softie"

Disadvantages Disadvantages I do not like his music

Robbie Williams is arrogant, ignorant and he compares himself with bad boy EMINEM. The former Take-that member managed a magnificent development and it is said that he is almost as popular as the Queen in England. The Queen is not amused but Robbie probably has an image and a style that is unique. For avoid misunderstandings I have to say that I am male. I also think that Robbie is very clever because he knows that it is time to say goodbye to the soft guy and say hello to the tough one. Limp Bizkit or EMINEM are quite successful although they said that they hate Europe. I must say that I like ... more

    Advantages Advantages excellent performer

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

When Robbie Williams was in Take That he was the ‘cute’ looking one, but it was Gary Barlow who seem poised to make it solo. But, we all know how his career has been a major flop and it’s been Robbie Williams who’s been the most successful. He’s won countless Brit Awards and I think it was another three the other day. His songs are very good they are good and catchy and the videos are lively. ‘Hey Rock DJ’ ‘No Angel’ ‘She’s the one’ have been very good. I am sure that Robbie Williams will win a lot more Awards, he’s ... more

Advantages Advantages Funny, Talented, Inspiring, Born Entertainer!

Disadvantages Disadvantages None That Spring To My Head

It was 1997, and I was working in a sports shop, I had heard of Robbie Williams obviously but never paid much attention to him, he split from Take That and to be honest, I didn't care. A friend of mine who worked in the same shop, brought in this album to put on the shops sound system, the album was Life Thru A Lens, I listened to that album all day and my friend just kept putting it on, I was in awe to be honest, his honesty and love that he obviously put into this album made me decide to buy the album. 8 years on and I am probably one of the biggest Robbie fans going, I own all the albums ... more

    Advantages Advantages ok

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

When Robbie recorded George Michael’s freedom we all thought he would be around for a little while then he would disappear. After all it was Gary Barlow that was the song writing talent in Take That, so it was expected that only he would find fame after the band, and the rest would soon or later disappear. With Gary Barlow’s career a flop, Robbie Williams career has rocketed, he has won endless awards including Brit Awards and has written memorable songs. Both of his albums were best sellers and now having recorded his third album he is back again. With the single release of “Rock DJ” it looks ... more
