Advantages: Fun Disadvantages: You need to buy a usb hub before using two instruments and microphone at the same time.
This is one of the best games I have ever played. I had to wait a few weeks to play this but it was more than worth it. After discovering that I also had to buy a USB hub to be able to use the two instruments and a microphone at the same time, we were set up and ready to go. The actual setting up did not take long and after going through the tutorials we began playing. This is a game that is really eay to pick up but, as it gets progressively harder, ... ...is a talent which I am seriously lacking but I was able to complete songs without too much distress. I found the drums difficult at first as my co-ordination is also not great. The guitar is the best thing for me to stick with, I can normally complete songs and get a score in the high 90%. This is something that can unite and entertain friends and families for hour and hours on end. ...

Review of Rock Band (Wii)
Advantages: able to play as a band Disadvantages: finding people who can sing or play the instruments
I was Bought rock band as a pressent for my brithday, I played the drums for 10 years and gave it up years ago, I always told people I missed playing them, so this was the idea behind the gift. The game itself is excellent, ive always been a fan of guitar hero, but the added ability to have the drums and a singer on aswell really adds to the playability of the game, Unfortunatly im unable to find anyone who is capable of holding a note and playing ... ...unfortunatly with rock band the game there is not many songs i knew the words to sing along with, creep, bettle bump and 1 or 2 others.
all in all an excellent gift for anyone of any age. play it everyday to the dismay of my family and neighbours. ...

Advantages: Makes you feel like a rock god, is great entertainment Disadvantages: Have a sore throat and I am tired from performing
Since getting this game, me and my flatmates have barely slept and my throat is sore. We have played this game probably much more than the recommended amount but it is so addictive. None of us are musical in the slightest but all of a sudden we all think of ourselves as "rock gods." The choice of song is pretty good and you open up more as you complete each stage. There are a couple of difficult ones which I never heard of but once your in the zone ... ...well known ones, these are fantastic for a warm up before properly hitting the stage. We had a house party and everyone had a go, so it was great entertainment. If you aren't to sure about whether to buy this, then the simple answer is yes. Even if you can't sing or play the guitar, it makes you feel like you can. Stop sitting there reading this. GO AND BUY IT ...
