I bought my first RA-810 in 1975. I like it so much I have bought two additional ones for my sons. The 40 W RMS/channel into 8 ohms is conservative. Sound is clean and warm. Can handle two sets of speakers, with speaker protection a bonus. Separate treble and bass boost on both channels + a tone defeat switch which I find helpful. A balance control + muting switch are useful add-ons. What I like most is that this amp has no integrated circuits. Discrete components are easily sourced e.g. after 30 years or so the electrolytic capacitors begin to leak but are easily replaced.
