Rover 75 2.5 V6

My husband brought a 75 V reg. 23,000 miles 2.5V6, when there was still 6 months of warranty left. There have been problems with the door mechanisms, not opening and being 'lazy' and these were fixed under warranty. The bad news is that the oil cooler feed hoses are little more than plastic, there is no reinforcement in a part that operates in harsh conditions carrying hot oil under pressure to the cooler. When they fail the oil loss can be rapid and the engine will sieze if you cannot stop quickly enough. When this happened to my husbsands car the AA recovery man had to mop up oil from the ... more

I have had my Rover 75 for about 6 months now and i love it. I think the car feels very solid and is very nice and comfortable to drive. The 75 has so many features so i'll just list a few- Heated seats, electric windows, climate control, xenon headlights, leather interior, auto windscreen wipers, ultrasonic parking sensors, electric rear windscreen blind and retro style dash. Review on T Reg 1999 Rover 75 2.5 V6 Connoisseur SE 4dr Our Rover 75 has moved on, however when we did own one of these, it was not only the perfect car, it was a beast! It was taken on god knows how many trips, the ride comfort on the long trips to Holland was second to none. I have now had my Rover 75 for about 3 months, in British Racing Green and I love it, I cannot fault the car in any way comfort to handling it is outstanding, even my wife said she loves the car and I hav’nt heard her say that about a car before. Over the years we have had a variety of luxury cars, Cadillac, Lincoln to name just two, all nice cars but the Rover is number one, the hi line navigation system, the ultrasonic parking aid, are just some of the extras you can have.
