Well, apart from the extremely nice price and the fact that it would look great in my kitchen, the design and the very idea appealed to me. As previously explained, the Uno really is an attractive looking little machine. It's of moderate size (around 40cm high and 25cm wide) and so fits perfectly snugly in a corner in my kitchen. The main colour of the Uno is black, with silver buttons and spout. It has a 'rounded' appearance and looks quite different from your conventional, bulky coffee machines.

What better way to start the day than with a lovely hot cup of perculated coffee. - I can't think of any other way that would do the job First thing. I love my coffee, and Often found it hard to find a coffee machine that would be quick and easy for that early morning rush. Until I found this coffee maker. Priced down to just £10. Well At that price I thought I couldn't go far wrong and bought it -complete with 6 free java pods. The instructions ... ...I was enjoying a nice cup of coffee. I didn't expect the pods that came with the machine to be any good anyway - they were'nt bad but they lacked something. So I went out looking for these pods for the machine, and couldn't find them anywhere, not in tesco's not co-op not even at the local coffee trader. I was given a Russell Hobbs 11299 Uno Uno coffee-maker for Christmas. It was a completely unexpected gift. What was even more unexpected was just how good the coffee made by this machine is!
The coffee-maker is sleek and attractively designed. It has a very small footprint and therefore takes up little workspace in the kitchen (or better still in my study!). It really looks the part. To set up is simplicity itself. You fill the easily removable ... ...the container and then switch on the machine with the button at the front. This pre-heats the water. You then select your uno uno coffee pod - 5 of the "Love at First Sip" pods come with the machine - open the lid and place the pod in the round receptacle inside. (This can be removed to make the task of fitting the pod and removing the used pod much easier). Once the pod is in place, its simply a case of selecting a small or large cup of coffee pressing ...

Advantages: Fast,Clean,Tasty,And Ellegant Disadvantages: Finding a supermarket that sells suitable pods
This is our latest addition to our kitchen ....I had wanted one for quite a while, and we purchased ours from argos for an amazing £19.99 We had expected to pay far more then that!!
The instructions for use were straight forward ,and we have found that there is no need to buy the special pods off of the internet for this piece of modern technology. Simply purchase the Kenco or senseo or any other pods you may find frequenting the supermarket shelves, ... ...lid ,and hey -presto,two mins later fantastic tasting coffee, and none of the mess of the traditional coffee filter machines .
We used to only have fresh coffee as a treat because of the mess, but now our kettle has been shelved because this is just so much better......we have bought several coffee maker models in the past but within a week they have turned out to be white elephants and eventually ended up in the loft ,but not this time !!!! this ...

When these first came out I thought I have to have one!! I love the taste of fresh coffee but hate the grind of using a coffee perculator just for me. When I saw the price of it I was put off a bit too so didn't buy one
I was shopping the other day and one shop I went in had reduced them from £69.99 to £6.49!! So naturally i bought one lol The machine is sleek and stylish and is so easy to use you fill the water pot at the back of it place a pod ... ...tray, place your cup underneath and press either the half cup of full cup button it really is that easy!! I was a bit disapointed that a machine that retails for so much money only gives you 6 pods with it and I have tried 3 different supermarkets and none of them sell the pods. You do get a leaflet inside the box with a web address on it to buy the pods and they are £2.99 for 18 but if you run out of them it would be quicker to get them from a supermarket.

what an excellent coffee machine, was going to buy senseo but then spotted this for 9.99 in comet- best 9.99 i ever spent plus saved myself 40.00. what a bargain.
it's so simple to use and so quick- quicker than boiling the kettle
gets 10 out of 10 in my book!!!! could not find the pods though but found that most pods will fit this machine. actuallly bought some on ebay for a fraction of the cost. i would recommend this coffee machine to anybody ...

I just bought my partner one of these genius machines and i must admit they are brilliant. The uno uno makes coffee in less time than it takes to make instant coffee. You just fill the tank with water switch on,let it heat up and hey presto ready to make a coffee in seconds. Its a very attractive coffee machine and excellent value. I paid £25.00 at argos.You need the uno uno coffee pods which go easily in the top. I found these very difficult to ... ...web at www.unounopods.com. At 2.99 for 18 they are very good value. There are 3 different types to choose from.
The actual machine holds enough water to make 4 cups of coffee and it has 2 settings one to make cups and one to make mugs. This machine is extremely easy to use and easy to clean. Worth the money i'd say!!! ...

When these first came on the market, I really wanted a coffee maker like this and picked this model based on reviews. To begin with it was great - fairly quiet, easy to use, easy to clean and a quick boil.
You just fill the reservoir out, drop a pod into the holder and clamp down the hinged lid. Turn it on, wait for a couple of seconds for it to heat up and then select the cup size (cup or mug). The power light flashes whilst it is brewing and you ... ...machine has gone quiet) in order to avoid splashes. All in all, I feel it is a quick, simple operation for a proper cup of coffee.
However, some 18 months after purchasing, I find having to buy pods online annoying - no quick pop to the supermarket when you run out. The Senseo brand pods do fit and have a wider choice of flavours and strengths, but you need to be careful to make sure they fit exactly into the holder - any overlap and the hot water ...

I found that the Russell Hobbs 11299 UNO was not one of the best coffe makers i have ever had.
It was a beautiful coffee maker, although sometimes i found that the coffee made tasted bitter.
It was very easy to use, adding to its overall rating.
It seems to be lasting for a long time so i would say it is also very durable. Although I have seen a few scratches.
The users manual was rather small but with some good information.
It was not easy ... ...time cleaning it. It would be good in a home kitchen.
I would say it had good value for money although you are paying for the name also. As well as the quality of the product which could be considered as above average. It is more of a decorative peice than most coffee makers. ...
