SVP have fallen so far its now a case of when will it be sold off again, they bloke I spoke to (help section) Chris was the most off hand person I have ever dealt with, I ordered through paypal without logging into the SVP site, they associated this with my works account (same email) but denied this and said I logged in No I didn’t but they also sent it to another person at my works address who had ordered in the past of them??? When I pointed this ... ...WHY WOULD I. one of the cases was broken on delivery so it was returned, only to be sent to the same person as before, again I complained and asked for the works account to be closed so it would not associate with my account, they said I quote "for government legislation we cannot close your account for 7 years" yes you can but you keep the records for 6 years! anyway they changed the password and said that would do it, I now have the batch of DVDs ...

Advantages: They use to be good and you could leave reviews on there site and be able to phone them Disadvantages: real pain if your items faulty, item was still sowing picking when it was delivered and the next

I thought that SVP had at last turned the corner since the buyout as disc prices recently had been dropping and Free delivery was available if you spent over £50,so you can imagine the disappointment last week sept 09 when both disc prices were hiked substantially higher and postage and packing charges are now worked out relating to weight with No free delivery available unless you buy an item in the free shipping section which is way overpriced ... ...feet and go elsewhere.Quite simply SVP will not last long if they adopt this stance,they have pressed the self destruct button as other companies are selling items at cheaper prices,offer trade discounts and offer some sort of deal on p&p charges.Its a sad day as i have been a loyal customer for over 5 yrs,but im not stupid and will move to a cheaper supplier,even though i know most of the online suppliers are now from the same stable as SVP..Big ...

...I can say is that SVP is not what it used to be. The customer response is slow and unreliable - a state-of-affair that recently forced me to name and shame them on a forum, which they sponsor, in order to get a reply (something, which I encourage people to do, if SVP is being unresponsive). When they did reply, it was only to pass the buck and blame the problem on Paypal. Buyers should also be weary of their so-called "Express Courier (Next Business ... ...and, at worst, a sham. I sent a query (via their "customer order message system") asking for a refund of the premium shipping but my request was never acknowledged. Anyhow, SVP can kiss goodbye to this long-standing customer. To everybody else, all I can say is caveat emptor. ...

Advantages: Appearances can be Deceiving. Disadvantages: Once they take your money they won't care about you as a customer.
I placed an order for 7 packs of toner for my work place.
When the order arrived there was clearly only 6 toner cartridges.
I sent them an email to query this and they responded with an email telling me that I am wrong because they sent the correct quantity.
I replied and told them there's no way they sent me the correct quanitity as I am looking at 6 but I ordered 7, my email says 7 and they have taken payment for 7!
They replied again telling ... ...to me, I asked them to forward this 'photographic evidence' to me, and that is when they decided not to reply to any more of my emails.
I'll be contacting my dedit card provider to try and get the money back on the one they decided not to send me. However it doesn't look like I will be able to get money back on my missing toner as debit cards are not always protected against this sort of thing.

I have been using SVP for over 4 years now, I rated them so well that I never even looked elsewhere for blank media and other things. I guess if nothing goes wrong with your order then they are still fine but if you do have problems then they are now one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. They now have NO PHONE CONTACT - as soon as a company don't want to be contacted by phone then that should send out a warning to customers! I ... ...expect to see SVP around much longer if they treat all customers as bad as me. I will be contacting my credit card company on Monday to claim off them as I have had no joy at all with SVP. I have always bought my pc consumables from SVP.
They have always shipped fast and whenever I have had a problem they have always replied within days.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Haven't used them for awhile but when they had a shipping offer recently I could not resist. I ordered several packs of printer paper and some dvd cases.
Order took a little longer than I expected but after 2 weeks it arrived and I was very disappointed that the ... ...The paper was on the invoice and I had been charged for it but it was not in my possession. Also found 3 of the dvd cases had been cracked, the outer packaging was fine so it appears these items were broken before they were shipped to me.
Emailed them on Monday, no reply on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday so I emailed them again.
Finally received a response on the Tuesday after, informing me my items had been shipped correctly and that any errors ...

Bought some dvd+rs from this company as a recommendation from a friend.
Not only were the discs incredibly dirty, like they had been at the bottom of a warehouse for about a decade but they also arrived damaged.
I sent an email to their 'help desk' and did not get a reply, even after a week. I sent them another email and eventually received a reply, 'The damage was cased by the courier we use, we will have to contact them about it'.

I have ordered from SVP quite a bit and the order has always been pretty much spot on. However last month there was a problem with my order. It was missing two items. I sent them an email about my missing items and they never replied.
In fact they never replied for a whole week despite me sending them 8 emails!
Eventually they did reply but claimed the problem was down to the courier they used and that I had to sort out the problem with them.

How can I put this? SVP have totally lost the plot. I bought a batch of DVD cases from them last month and over half of them were broken on arrival. - Not the couriers fault, the box was in perfect condition - the cases were PACKED DAMAGED and they know it. Yes they are cheap - but they have always been cheap and very good! But now, you email them and you don't get a reply - EVER! You open a support ticket and you get NO REPLY. You email Steve the ... ...no reply from him either. They paying for a new website - POINTLESS. It's their SERVICE which needs an upgrade! They can't even be bothered to update their BLOG - last post was months ago. Their facebook page doesn't even work anymore. SVP have really gone downhill.
Last order took forever to arrive, I think in the end I got my item in about 2 weeks and the quality of the discs I bought are questionable.
They are not the media code as stated on their site so it looks like they have sold me a bunch of fakes. The media code on the discs they sold me don't even exist, looks like a rather pathetic cost saving excercise.
Took forever trying to sort out a refund, threat of contacting ...

I have been using SVP for several years.
However I recently bought some dvdrs from them that were incedibly poor. On average approx 1 in 3 failed, which is alarmingly high.
I have bought similar discs in the past from another retailer and they were not as bad as the ones I got from SVP.
I submitted a ticket about getting them replaced and it took them over a week to inform me that the problem was down to my dvd writer and that I should change ...

Trying to order from SVP website is like trying to fold a concrete parahcute
you can use your correct password with them or pap-pal on thier site
and keep getting it rejected I have told them about this in the past
but they have not done anyting about it .I e-mailed them 3 hours ago
