I have just purchased a Saab 9-3 SE 2.0T 2001 after looking at Golfs, Passats and A4s it was all down to price and value for money at first. That was until I drove the 9-3, WOW! An all round good car, comfortable and easy to drive with a responsive engine, the five door version has excellent passenger space and a large boot. For motorway driving the comfort cannot be matched and economy is good, but around town it can be thirsty. Little or no road noise at speed and the supportive and comfortable driving position leave nothing to be desired.
