"OK, here we go again…..So there I was, in the supermarket down to my last tenner needing to get lifes essentials (wine, fags, loo roll and cat food!) as economically as possible! I worked out that this meant I had to go for a bottle of wine under £2.50 if I could find one. Last time I went for (and reviewed!) Sainsbury’s Soave – nope, I didn’t want THAT again! "This Sainsbury’s version of Chilean White Wine is only £2.99 a bottle but is a bargain or just plonk or what? Where does it come from? Chile has developed into one of the “New World” wine producers. It has a 5,000km long coastline, in the north is the Atacama desert probably one of the driest places on this planet while in the south there are icebergs.
