Wine, Wine, Two Ninety-Nine

Disadvantagesbit grim

"...me to stop off at Sainsbury's on the way, to purchase the obligatory bottle of wine. (An excellent system this: rock up with a cheap bottle of vino, and then you are perfectly at liberty to knock back as much of the host's booze as you can. Brilliant.) Not being particularly flush at the moment, I perused the aisles, wondering just how miserly I could go. Sainsbury's Basic White Wine at £2.05? When I say dry I mean DRY

AdvantagesA really DRY wine

DisadvantagesNot for the 'medium' drinkers!

"I have just read Blurbubble’s opinion about Sainsbury’s Soave and I realised that although I love this wine, I had never written an opinion about it. dry wine for dry summer days

Advantagesvery cheap, good for the price

It'll vary depending on whereabouts in the country you buy it, but even in central London it should be under £3. For being one of the cheapest wines in the supermarket, its not half as bad as it could be. Its very dry (which I like) and fairly crisp. It will immediately ..." Read review
