    I eat a lot of canned vegetables because I find them very quite and easy to prepare and a lot of the brands on the market are very good value. The cheaper ones I also find quite good value too and so I buy them on a regular basis so that they are handy in my cupboard for when I need to use them. I paid only 17p for 300g can from Sainsbury’s own brand of the Basics range, the can has just a basic wrapper with the name clearly on the front and in the usual colours of the Basics range.     17p I pay for a can of these mushy peas from Sainsbry's store. I don't have a Sainsburys near to wear I live but my daughter in law does and she buys them for me and then I give her the money for them when she comes round. They don't have a ring pull but the can seems like a soft tin and its easy to open with the tin opener. The colour of the mushy peas is a bright green and they are all really mushed up and very big peas which is just the way I like them to be. I never eat the whole tin as they are big at 300grammes in each tin but I heat up a half a tin in the pan and it only takes a few ... more
