It is quite a cute little gadget in black and silver and looking at the overall design, it looks pretty simple and easy ... ...power button is on the top along with the shutter button and microphone. The camera is Samsung DIGIMAX A502. As you can see in the picture up top, it is black and silver in colour, I don't like the all-silver ones. Other colours available for the same model are, red and silver, or neo silver, although I wasn't offered a choice of colours so presume they only had the black and silver in stock which I would have chosen anyway.
This camera has 5.0 mega-pixel resolution, 5X digital zoom, 1.8" TFT-LCD monitor, ... ...The digital camera, user manuel, camera strap, software CD, USB cable, 2 AA alkaline batteries.
The software CD is for transferring the pictures onto a computer using the USB cable, so there are certain system requirements your computer would have to have:

Advantages: Good value, easy to use, small & lightweight Disadvantages: Not very good for night-time shots
I've had this camera for about 18 months now and it has proved to be an excellent investment.
It's a great point-and-shoot camera, and is very easy to use. I really use it exclusively on the 'Auto' setting, and it does me proud. However there are more manual settings available should you want to tinker about a bit more. Personally, I find it easier just to leave it on Auto and then mess about with my photos in Photoshop once I've uploaded them to ... ...menus and buttons on this camera are really easy to use, and I've never had any problems in finding my way around it. Battery-wise, it can guzzle the batteries a bit - so I'd recommend rechargables to cut down on the cost.
I'd recommend this camera either to a beginner in the world of digital photography, or for someone that is happy with taking family and holiday snaps. I've somewhat grown out of it after 18 months of use...but that is more because ...

this is a good compact camera, although the camera is small and takes a long time to save the pictures it is good becasue the pictures are kept ot a minimum size so you can store many. the camera could do with other things like more frames and a lens cap due to the fact that my lens cap got scratched once or twice;. you can have a lot of modes for the camera, night mode, day mode, landscape and close up etc. the camera has one main disadvange in ...

This camera is light weight, easy on the eye and a great buy ! The only down side is the fact that it eats batteries. I have solved this problem by purchasing rechargable batteries this saves time and money. I would definatly recomend this camera to amature photographers wanting to record there holiday or just snap away as they wish. This camera also features a reasonable quality video camera that is ideal to video those things that your mates just ... ...creative urge that gets the better of you. With this camera you are provided with photo graphic software to edit your photos, this is a great laugh, you can use it to eliminate red eyes or to add fun extras to you photos.
