Samsung DVD-H1080

I bought the Samsung DVD H1080 a couple of years back when I replaced my TV. I thought the sleek looks and stylish design would fit in very well with my new TV and stand, and it certainly looked the part. Although I don't have a vast experience of DVD players and don't claim to look at the spec's with any real understanding, I were drawn in with the good looks. I received this DVD player this Christmas. My previous one was a cheap and cheerful Philips version, which failed me in the space of six months, so I'd asked for a reliable (thus, more expensive) one to replace it. I bought this Samsung DVD H1080 in the middle of last year when I upgraded my TV to a new HD set and got Sky HD to go with it. Nice looking dvd player with HDMI output. Tiny in size and very stylish. Remote is easy to use. Picture quality is really good on my samsung 40 inch tv. Audio quality is also very good. Problem is they are out of sync noticably. I tried about 10 dvds that i have watched before on my other players and had no issues with them. I also tried new hdmi cables and composite video cables too with no luck. I tried every setting on the device and nothing really helped or solved it. I bought this for myself a while ago now because I was fed up of using the cheap rubbish one I got from Argos. I am so glad that I choose a reputable brand as this DVD player is excellent! The DVD player is very stylish, and looks modern as it is in a sort of circular shape, unlike the ones that seem old which are in a rectangular shape. It has a glossy finish which makes it stand out from the rest. The player is black with a Samsung white coloured label on top.
