Advantages Advantages picture quality, movie clips....

    Disadvantages Disadvantages eats batteries.

About a year and a half ago, just before I embarked on a holiday to Spain, I decided to treat myself to a brand new, good quality camera. The one I purchased is infact, all of the above. Although there are many other digital cameras with more Megapixels, bigger zooming capabilities, this camera is still regularly used and I have no intention of purchasing another anytime soon. The camera cost around, if my memory is serving me correctly today, £140 at the time I purchased it. Well worth the money in my personal opinion and I will explain exactly (hopefully) why. As stated above in the ... more

Advantages Advantages Very good quality, good value, easy to use but with more advanced options

Disadvantages Disadvantages batteries can run out quickly, no viewfinder

This is a good quality camera that doesn't cost a huge amount of money. You can just point and shoot or use more options to take more advanced photographs. The camera looks good, mine has a back body with a silver border and lens and a blue finish on the front. (you can get it in a white/silver colour.) the battery compartment area is pushed out slightly to make the camera easier to hold and this has a leather style pattern on the front. The camera has no viewfinder, which at first annoyed me, but the colour screen is very good quality so soon you get used to just using the screen ... more

Advantages Advantages Is compact, with great zoom, takes awsome quality photos

Disadvantages Disadvantages Large colour screen means battery life is limited.

Purchased this camera a couple of months ago for my wife, her choice! Since then I have used it more than her! I am very much a shaky hand point and click photographer and this camera has been very good to me! It stands just over 6cm tall, and 10cm wide, and upto 3.5cm depth. Its light weight (according to my scales 165g) It has a big LCD screen of 6.4cm (2.4" in old money!) It also has 20mb internal memory. The power button sits on top of the camera, is small, and slightly sunk, so unlikely to be turned on accidently. Next to it is the rotary switch which allows you to select the type of ... more

Advantages Advantages good quality pics, large screen

Disadvantages Disadvantages short battery life, slow shutter speed

this low cost camera offers quite a lot for the price. it is relatively compact, certainly small enough to fit in your pocket or handbag. it has a large colour screen which is great, however this does mean that battery life is quite short and i would definitely recommend some good quality rechargeables to go with it. the 8.1 megapixels gives a good crisp shot. the lens quality is ok. under zoom the quality does go down a bit, but it is still far superior to the quality in say a camera phone. it comes with a disk to help synch it up with your computer, but you can plug it straight in without ... more
