...ever use. After having my Samsung E600 for two months i can quite safely say i will never again stray from the Nokia path.
I was tempted into buying this phone based on aesthetic value rather than actual practical features of the phone. Yes its a good looking phone, the inbuilt camera is of amazing quality and the ring tones are outstanding. The phone is a great size and shape measuring 82x42x24mm and weighing 85 grams. ...it. Going from Philips to Samsung is like going from Economy to 1st class on a business flight, but I'm not sure how other users will find it going from another phone. It came with 2 batteries, a normal one and a slimmer one although you can't tell the difference at a glance, but the fact that there's two batteries is a great help especially when going abroad and you've pre charged them.

...it and would get a Samsung again, but I'd pay more attention to detail rather than the way it looks. I just wish Nokia would bring out another tiny phone the the 8310, or a flip phone that 's worth being seen with!
I got this phone a couple of weeks ago and it's tiny for a video capture phone. It's fairly easy to use, but lacks certain useful traits such as being able to turn it onto silent easily (like with a Nokia). However it does have useful ... ...games and ringtones already, but Samsung have a website where you can get further free games, ringtones, wallpaper and screensavers just for registering which is great.
Although it's small it's not flimsy like some small phones and when put on loud it can still make a fair racket.
I wouldn't recommend this phone for those who want constant photo and video use as the quality isn't brilliant, but still acceptable.

Each year I get a new phone. It is my husbands idea, not mine. In the past I have had either Sony or Nokia. This time I decided to go with a flip top camera phone. I had never had one before so I wanted to try it out.

It is a very classy phone. It is small and smooth that fits easily in a pocket or hand bag. It is so small that sometimes I tend to lose it in my handbag!! It has a screen on the front so that you can see who is calling you ... ...is great!

Well, like all phones you have to start learning different ways in order to work them. It usually takes me about a week to figure one out. However, this one was very simple and easy to learn. ...i hear you cry! Well, samsung have been very genourous too us, with 2 batteries provided and a hands free kit i find comfortable to wear and has the ability to control the phone from a button on the mic, an extremely useful feature.
And onto the thorny subject of niggles. The most annoying of these is going to take a photo, finding there is no space and that its full of pictures of black from your pocket. Intensely annoying, this need a hold button ... ...seconds of video means you of ten end up missing the moment. And even more annoying their isnt a greeat deal of video and image space, but you learn to live with this by changing the settings and being more economical.
Overall, the phones design is one i like, with a clearly laid out keypad and a design that is easy on the eye.

...finally i found it the Samsung E600.
It's small, so fits into the tiniest of bags, however it can get lost!!!!!, with a built in camera that adapts to night and day and that can also change pictures to black and white you can have fun all day long with this little phone. It take very good quality pictures indeed, that i have put on to the computer and have come out very well.
There are a four games: bubble smile, fun2link, ultimate golf challenge ... ...of the chess then again am not very good at it, same with the golf however i am just starting to master fun2link but it can bore me after awhile. My favourite out of the 4 games is bubble smile, it keeps me entertained makes me quick on my toes and the colours on the screen are always changing making it just as interesting as Snake on the Nokia phone.
The ringtones need to be more varied however there are a couple you will find me dancing to including ...

Two other things that i think are vital when purchasing this phone is to buy a data cable so that you can get some decent ringtones onto your phone from the internet and also a desktop charging dock, this allows you to charge the battery you arent using and the battery in the phone at the same time, this saves a lot of hassle.
Unfortunately i dropped my phone within 24hours of buying it....most depressing ...

When I bought the Samsung E600 I couldn't wait to get home and try out my new flip phone. I found that it was an easy layout on the menu but the instructions given were a little brief and didn't always explain how to get to something. The SMS set up is very strange in the way that you change the size of the letters and go from letter to numbers to symbols and it took me a long to get used to it. The inbox its self has a very big capacity as it holds ... ...10. MMS is also very good and very easy to use. You simply select a subject and add pictures, sounds and texts. Then you can send it up to 3 people. Before you send you are able to preview your MMS. Out of all the phones I have ever had I would say that this MMS system is the best.

...looking we settled on the Samsung E600.
It feels solid yet weighs in at only 85g.
Although tiny, measuring only 82mm x 42mm x 24mm it has great recption and is easy to use as the top just flips open thereby giving you a phone that you can hold against your ear whilst speaking into the microphone comfortably.
Its easy to use for text messages with a good size display, although a little irritating that I haven't yet worked out how to permanently ... ...camera and video camera on board and can send/receive photos. A nice touch is that you can program it to display a picture of who is calling rather than the number!
It is WAP capable but thats not something that interests me.
As well a variety of ringtones it also has a vibration alert.
Five games and the ability to load more add to the fun.

The Samsung E600 is notibaly one of the highest quality mobile phones around at the present time.
One of the many advantages that it has is that it is small and light allowing it to fit easily into your pocket.
Its high quality of colour not only looks professional but allows you to take decent photos and short videos.
It has WAP which allows you to surf the internet at any time of the day you wish, without having to sit in front of a computer.

It has tri band roaming which allows you to roam freely in many international countries.
It has a number of different Java Games included on the phone, and with WAP it is easy to download new games at the click of a button.

Well with this phone certainly not! It looks great and has an amazing personality too. I got this phone as a suprise Christmas present and was instantly disapointed as it wasn't a nokia. Every phone I have ever had was a nokia and I wasn't planning on changing. Then I opened the box and instantly changed my mind. The phone was beautiful and so small, so stylish looking.
