Purchased the Samsung LE32A457 on the 2nd July '08. Found it to be very easy to set-up the basic video & sound. To get the best from this model you do have to tweak all the settings, and there are plenty of them. The defaults are OK but was a lot, lot better after my personal settings. I have been looking for a widescreen television for about a year now. I was about to buy a LG 32LB75 when I saw the picture quality of the Samsung LE32A457. The difference was unbelievable! For a little more money it was well worth it! The picture clarity of the Samsung is stunning. Freeview Standard Definition is a cut above most other LCDs I've seen. Skin tones are impressively natural, and colours are crisp. Ghosting does not seem to be a problem on this model. Sound is average, but hidden speakers are a plus. The Samsung has a piano black gloss finish which makes it a stylish and sexy LCD. I highly recommend the LE32A457 to anyone! --D. van Popta

I bought this today for the bargain price of £428 and I must say it is absolutely beautiful. The picture and sound are unbelivable. I would definetely recommend to anyone. The contrast is 10.000:1 with built in freeview in a black gloss finish, with clear edging round the bottom. UPDATE 8 DAYS LATER. I am totally in love with this television. I bought this LCD 2 months ago. It has certainly dropped in price since I bought it! What impressed me in-store was the picture clarity. The colours are crisp, the detail is stunning! The sound won't throw you back in your seat, but my intention is to buy a decent surround sound system.
