I have own several digital camera in the past and all were of average quality. This camera however I found breaks the mould. The picture quality is fantastic, it has nearly 15 mega pixel and it take High def videos aswell. Sound quality on the video is very good also. One of the reviews i read above about the humming noise, I can only assume this is a fault with the camera as i have had no such problems. its very quiet. the touch screen is amazing ...
...a wide sellection of modes available for different shooting condition which makes getting the perfect shot every bit easier. One other point I also noticed was that the battery life is excellent, whereas all my previos cameras had to be recharged before every use. So I bought it as a camera it works well but when you turn it on it gives a humming sound in both camera mode and video mode that's OK but when you use the video mode the microphone picks up the humming sound. The ease of use, build quality, functionability and value for money is one of the best on the market as far as I am concerned.
