There aren't many cameras that I would rave about, but this one I can't help it. It first caught my eye when I saw one of my friends using it, and upon hearing it was 14.7mp, I was really impressed. I have own several digital camera in the past and all were of average quality. This camera however I found breaks the mould. The picture quality is fantastic, it has nearly 15 mega pixel and it take High def videos aswell. Sound quality on the video is very good also. Samsung NV100HD Disappointed to say the least I have trawled the internet for reviews on this camera all seemed positive. So I bought it as a camera it works well but when you turn it on it gives a humming sound in both camera mode and video mode that's OK but when you use the video mode the microphone picks up the humming sound. And on play back either on camera or through the TV the sound is quite apparent good video quality but very bad audio quality waiting for Samsung to reply to my question is this a camera or a design fault.

Advantages: Great touchscreen interface for the navigation of menu options and altering camera settings
Disadvantages: The pop up flash gets in the way of where you normally hold the camera.

I have had many cameras over the years and this is by far the best all round performer I have owned. The ease of use, build quality, functionability and value for money is one of the best on the market as far as I am concerned. Granted many may not use the full capabilities of the massive 14.7 megapixels but they're good to have anyway.
