Advantages: Easy to navigate, great camera, good battery life Disadvantages: Screen scratches easily, no answering machine
I purchased this phone around 5 months ago, I got it as part of my contract deal, I always wanted a touch screen phone and this seemed a pretty good deal.
I took the phone home and opened the box, the box contained:
Mobile phone
Charger
USB lead for computer to phone
3 different coloured backs. (Red, black and blue)
Instructions for the phone
Disc for the computer to enable transfers from phone to pc
Headphones
Memory card
Instruction manual
Battery

Advantages: The fabulous eight mega pixel camera, and the convenient and practical memory card.. Disadvantages: Battey life is not exactly poor but not exactly great either.
I have been faithful to Samsung for three consecutive phones now, from the D500 to the G600 and as of most recently, the Samsung Pixon. I find their phones extremely stylish and innovative; Samsung are very image-concious and this certainly rings true for the Pixon as well, which although is not exactly small (due to the necessary large screen) does have a smooth and sleek feel to it. Do note that this phone is also available in pink and silver, not ...

Advantages: excellent camera, nice touch screen Disadvantages: poor hold function, lack of applications, accessories hard to come by
I love my Samsung Pixon. It is the best phone I have ever had, however evey time I get a new phone it betters the previous one!
I bought this phone mainly for the camera, having an 8 mega pixel camera on your phone is brilliant, I always have my phone with me, therefore I always have my camera with me and never miss a photo opportunity. The photo quality and features of the camera rival standard digital cameras in the £150 - £200 price range. People ...

Advantages: Looks sleek, feels comfortable, amazing camera capabilities, very durable Disadvantages: Poor battery life, quite pricey
This is my first Samsung mobile phone after being a die hard follower of Sony Ericsson phones for years now. I decided that it was time for a change and also a change of the contract that I was on. There is no doubt in my mind that I made the right choice to move on to Samsung phones and the M8800 Pixon in particular. Although it does posses some annoying little perks, it is an outstanding phone none the less.
Well I guess the first thing I should ...

Advantages: brilliant camera and qwerty touchscreen Disadvantages: oversensitive motion sensor
This is more a digital camera with the added bonus of having a mobile phone functions. The 8.2 megapixel camera ensures that you get great photos at times when you dont have your camera to hand.
The touch screen functions and phone keypad take some adjusting to if like me you're more used to a more traditional dialing pad. But once you get over that, its a fun phone to use with a qwerty touch screen keyboard that makes texting so much easier and ...

Advantages: pretty to look at Disadvantages: poor battery life and signal
The day i brought this i must have forgotten how to read. because generally i will at least read ONE review somewhere on this item. and in hindsight there was a lot of bad ones about it. I have hardly anything good to say about this phone. I had it in pink. Nice shade of pink i guess. not really what you want to be paying £35 pound a month for thou. nothing fantastic or outstanding to report. the touchscreen couldn't keep up with me and unlike other ...

Advantages: Camera is fantastic Disadvantages: Lock feature is not always reliable
I got this mainly for the camera though I then got a digital camera for my birthday so have not used it as much as intended. When I have used it I found the results as high quality as I had anticipated with many features which are fun to play around with such as face detection, scene type etc. I ahve also noticed in comaprison to friends phones the shutter speed seems to be alot quicker meaning people don't get fed up waiting for you to take the picture.

Advantages: Great camera, fast internet, Easy to txt, Very touch sensitive, fun widgets and other things too Disadvantages: Buttons on the side are very easy to press when normaly holding the phone
I got this phone just about a month ago and i love it. It is easy to work and looks great.
The touch screen has great accuracy! You also have the ability to calibrate it so it will always be able to detect exactly where your finger is!
When i txt it is fast and easy! When held normaly it has a keypad just like button phones, you can also turn it on its side and you have a qwerty keyboard!
The camera is 8mp and takes amazing pictures! I ...

Advantages: Intuitive Menus, Fantastic Camera, Good Storage Disadvantages: Quite Chunky, Scrolling is slightly awkward, sound quality thru earpiece
...by it,
Ive previously owned samsung phones but did not like the way they worked but this is so much different.
Firstly the styling of the phone is very slick, if I had to moan id say it could do with being a little slimmer, there are 3 buttons on the front panel, the answer button, the end call button and the return/back button, there is a camera on the front of the phone too,
the touch screen is very clear and works really well, the only problem ...

Advantages: camera, sat nav, internet, screen Disadvantages: finding photos to download, battery life
The Samsung M8800 Pixon in my opinion is a great camera phone. The photos the camera takes are top class. In my opinion the best feature on the phone. 8mega pic which has all the features that a normal camera has, infer red, black & white. Storage is very large and could hold hundreds of photos. The Pixon has a very big screen which looks good for checking your photos. It is very good for playing games also. The only thing i would say about the camera ...

Advantages: Good quality camera, reception quality is good Disadvantages: Touch screen is temperamental , Bulky in size
I feel the the samsung pixon does not live up to the good samsung name. My last four phones have been samsung but this one has hadconstant problems. Oneproblem is the touch screen stops working and is only remedied by lifting the screen slightly from one side with my finger nail.
On the positive side to this phone, the camera is superb and of a very high quality. When the photos are donloaded to a PC, the images can be blown up and printed whilst ...

Advantages: Great camera Disadvantages: Yet to experience all the features
...is alot nicer than the Samsung Omnia but by all the features it boasts. The first thing i was dying to check out was the 8mp camera & wow what a camera, it's as clear as any digital camera i've ever had, the face-detection is brilliant & the video quality is also a huge step up from any phone i've ever seen.
Another thing i was very impressed with was the memory capability, i was told it can hold up to a 32GB memory card which is a massive amount ...

Advantages: Screen and the applications the phone has. Disadvantages: Size of the phone
When i first when to get this phone i was going for the brothing phone the omina but i was told that this phone was more practical for personal use. The wide screen makes using the touchscreen easier to use and more fun for the games. The down fall of this phone is the size of the phone, but this makes up as the screen. The phones messaging was to ways you can have it up the standard way or you can roate the phone to the side and use it as a mini ...

Advantages: Good camera, easy to use (when you know how), reliable & good range of features Disadvantages: camera flash isn't very impressive, message inbox doesnt hold very many, can sometimes be slow
I decided to buy this phone in december because i thought it had a good amount of features and i felt that it was one of the best phones on the market at the time. So far, it has been very good, with only a few minor annoyances. The camera is good, but not as impressive as was stated- it can be quite slow and when it is dark the pictures tend to come out blurred, i feel that the flash is poor, however day time photography is quite good. The inbox ...
