Advantages Advantages Camera Is Brilliant, Bright Screen and Lots more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can't have themes on this handset

I purchased this handset a few weeks back now and have decided to write my own review to let you know what I think and what I recommend thanks... Style: I absolutely adore the phone with its smooth and shiny looking slide and I also think that its great that this new phone also has a large screen great for watching movies and playing your games... Its not to bulky or heavy its perfect to slide in and out of my pocket.... I don't really like the buttons at the bottom would been a lot easier if it was fully touch screen. Features: I have been through most of the phone and found that the phone ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, low cost, feature packed, interesting, customisable.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly over reacts with the tilt thing.

I'm a huge user of mobile phones, and always want newer, better and with more features. So it's shocked many people I know to find out that I've had my tocco since April 2010! But this phone is a honey. It's hard wearing (I drop it constantly) and has more features than I'll ever actually use. Features: Touch Screen - So easy to use, just touch the screen and slide around to move anything including the network logo and clock out of the way of your screen. keypad - Slide the phone down to find a funky red keypad if you ever need to use it (I rarely do as the keypads on the touch screen are ... more

    Advantages Advantages Everything, it's fantastic

Disadvantages Disadvantages Lack of apps, considering it's a "smartphone"

When I got my Samsung Phone, I got it with Vodaphone. It costs £20.00 a month consisting of 900 minutes (more than enough) and I also get unlimited texts and internet. This is a very good deal really, and the phone is excellent. I am more than pleased with this phone - It has an easy to use keypad both on the touch screen and a slide out keypad is accessable. The camera on the phone is excellent, with high quality 8mega-pixels and a range of different camera settings to choose from, including frames and wide angle camera lense. All of my photos have come out clearly. The only problem I would ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use. Quit a robust phone.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Widgets are a waste of time and don't stick in place. The fake call feature is annoying.

This is my first Samsung phone, after mainly being an SE owner. And this is also my first touch screen phone. Good points:- Call clarity is good. Battery life is good, can usually squeeze about 5-6 days out of it before it needs charging. Screen is nice and bright. I like the fact you can change the fonts on the text messages. Good quality camera. Bad points:- Screen is not as responsive as I'd like. It's a pain to get into the camera to use it and it's awkward to set up the options, as I find the icons round the edge of the screen confusing. The widgets I have to say are a waste of time. They ... more

Advantages Advantages Great quality rear camera, Camera adjustments(eg ISO levels), combination of touch screen and keys

Disadvantages Disadvantages Messaging problems, turning itself off occasionally

This phone was my first contract phone, paying £30 a month for the privilege, and initially, I was very happy with the phone, worked well, sent texts on time, the delivery reports came immediately. But after a few months, 3 or so, I started to notice text messages coming through late, sometimes up to 8 hours late. Upon taking it back to the service provider, I was told this was common with the phone. So I had the fault sorted, which it had seemed to improve, but only for a short period. I've got wound up by the phone even more lately, as to combat the late text messages, I've had to take the ... more

Advantages Advantages 8MP Camera, Full Touch Screen With Anti-Scratch, 2.8" Screen Making Movie Viewing Oustanding

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very unlucky if you do not have insurance on it, highly reccomended

I recently took ou the S8300 on contract with Vodafone. The phone itsself is, i think, a gorgeous piee of technoloogy. It comes with 1GB memory stick as standard and also includes an anti-scratch screen. As opposed to the older Tocco, you now have the option of using the phone as a touchscreen alone or you can slide it upand then open a whole new outlook on it. The 8 megapixel camera means its just as good as anything on the market at the moment and it also has a feature called blink-detection. Which warns te person takin the photo that the other person is blinking whch could possibly ruin the ... more
