I needed to replace a thermalfilm fax machine with TAM and one which was also compact enough to fit on a small shelf. As film roll is so wastefull I was looking for a machine with a cartridge. So far so good, this ticked all the boxes.
Set up was easy, but when it came to recording the OGM the quality was terrible. Try as I might I could not leave a clear message, especially another number to ring. Important to us as we run a small business from home.
Athough I didn't get as far as sending any faxes I didn't like the way you had to lift the receiver to listen out for a fax tone before pressing send, unless using stored numbers.
A real disappointment - it's going straight back. ...
