My Sexy Samsung!

Advantages: Great for taking pictures, looks, battery time
Disadvantages: Crap alarm, easily scratched.

Over the last 8 years, I have steadfastly stuck to the one brand of mobile phone, the Nokia. Basic reason being that I pretty much knew what I was getting and could mostly guarantee a trusty reliable phone for the year I had the contract. So, recently the time came again to upgrade my phone and since I had seen this phone on the TV I wanted to see what it was like. A friend at work got her hands on one so I had a go and was very much impressed! ...
...up good old orange (yeah right, but that’s for another review) to see what they could do. Which ended up getting the phone for free because I shouted at them for a previous problem I had had and threatened to leave them completely! So, my new phone came through the post and was delivered to my work without any problems. As sad as it is, I was actually really excited! On opening the box I was not disappointed. I really think this is a very classy ...

Advantages: Stylish, sleek and top quality.
Disadvantages: Where is the blue tooth?

...leaving with a colour screen Samsung as I have wanted one since they hit the shops. Instead I came out with a Nokia 5210. Nokia was a brand which suited me for several years and I didn’t believe there was any other brand for me, but how wrong was I? Just three months ago, I was telling my friend at work that I was getting bored with my Nokia 5210 but it had served me well for just over a year and a half, undamaged and still to this day in perfect ...
...had received an email from Samsung saying, ‘congratulations, you have won a Samsung SGH-E700 phone. Please confirm your address and it will be dispatched immediately’. Neither of us could believe it, but it arrived several days later by special delivery. We both thought they must be some catch like you had to sign up with a certain contract but to my delight it came SIM free. So I popped in my existing Virgin SIM card and off I went… Just to skip ...

Samsung do it again!

Advantages: Large memory
Disadvantages: unable to send ringtones

...too. I've had 4 Samsung phones now, and all have been brilliant phones and they are getting better each time. The E700 has to be my favourite so far, it's so cute, blue (a big bonus in my books!) has a camera and is a flip phone... i look so good slamming it down in the middle of town when i've had an argument with my fella!! Lets start with the basics. The front of the phone has a fairly big LCD screen showing the time, date and messages. On ...

Just above the volume button is a rubber "plug" which can be taken out to put in the hands free kit. There is also an infra-red thingy-me-bobbly too, ...

...the beuaty that is the Samsung SGH-e700, was free with O2 Leisure Time Plus. So, ofcourse I snapped it up. And here I am today! DESIGN the design is incredibly funky. It's a metallic ailver mostly with a strip measuring about 2.5cm across the middle and down the front of the fone of a smooth indigo blue. In the middle of this strip is an LCD (liquid Crystal Display) screen. Now I could review this aspect in features but I'll explain here - LCD ...

Samsung E700

Advantages: just about everything!
Disadvantages: sometimes it takes photos when its in your pocket

I got this phone around a year ago as an exchange for the O2 X1. (which was terrible... read my other review for more info!) I loved it from the very first time I seen it. I charge mine around every three nights, which is good considering the amount of time I use the phone. (I'm definantly text-obsessed and forever playing games and phoning friends). The charger is very reliable and clicks into place, so it's easy to find my phone in the mornings ...
...just pull the cable and there it is! I tried that on other phones I used to have and the phone just fell off, leaving me on a quest down the side of the bed to find the phone. It's relativly easy to type texts- the one problem with texting is having to change to the ABC mode every time you open the text screen- either I haven't found a way to save the settings or it's not possible. I prefer to type the texts rather then using the dictionary. The ...

Samsung Puts Nokia To Shame

Advantages: Funky look, cool colour screen, size
Disadvantages: Ringtones, alarm

...to my surprise, won a Samsung E700. I was expecting it to be a big bulky thing, and was quite happy with my new Nokia I had acquired just a couple of months prior to this. Because of this, I was expecting the Samsung to be winging its way over to E-bay pretty soon. I decided I had to have a sneaky peek at it though, just in case it was better than my Nokia. And oh, how it put my old phone to shame. Weighing just 85 grams, I picked it up and was ...
...my hand, too, thanks to the famous "flip bit". I was warming to it as if it was a new baby, and from that moment on, I knew me and my E700 had formed a bond that could never be broken. Before even switching it on, I was loving it. I was especially liking the sound it made when it flipped shut - and you can't get that with any Nokias. I couldn't believe my allegiance was changing, but I couldn't deny it either. The E700 was here to stay. Because ...

Advantages: Great camera phone , nice display
Disadvantages: No Infra Red transfer to laptop, Naff alarn clock

The E700 Camera phone I like this phone a lot but I don’t love it, when I first got it I loved it but as I start to understand it more as I’m used to the Nokia interface instead of finding new and exciting features I find there are things that I wish I could do but just cant. One thing about this phone that is fantastic is the photo quality it is brilliant for a mobile phone and could easily beat a cheap digital camera. It takes photos a 640x480 ...

The bad thing is although you can take great snaps it is not possible as far as I am aware to transfer then via Infrared although the phone does have ...

...3510 for this swish new Samsung e700. I was worried that it would be a little bit too different, and I'd be unable to use it without confusion and the inevitable frustration that goes along with it. Fortunately, I made the right choice by doing so. The Samsung e700 does almost everything that it sets out to do perfectly, with just a couple of annoying little niggles. The most obvious place to start is its looks. When folded up it looks great. The ...

At the top is the 4-way direction button, which can be used to quickly access "Write SMS", "Calendar", "Change Tones for Incoming calls", the camera and GPRS. But ...

...always been very loyal to Samsung however I’m not one of those who has a desire to keep up with the latest technology. If I want to take a picture I will use a good quality camera, if want to play games then a Gameboy is ideal. Coping with inferior game playing or pictures seems pointless just because it is the latest fad. What is important to me is that I can make calls and more importantly the phone fits in my shirt pocket, is barely visible and ...
...Samsung range of flip phones has always been ideal and my current model makes call, sends text messages and is lightweight but neither plays games or takes pictures, nor does it have any colour features or fancy ring tones. So anyway back to the pub and mate number one pulls out a really old Nokia while mate number two produces the Samsung SGH E700. The first thing that hit me was the really cool design and after a few minutes play I was hooked. ...

The best phone I've ever owned

Advantages: Nice design, simple navigation, excellent camera, games
Disadvantages: Can't assign pics to phonebook entries, no bluetooth

The conditions to which I received this phone were presented to me in the form of an ultimatum: give up my old and much loved Sony Ericsson t300 phone, or do without this latest piece of technology (as part of a bargain made between me and my parents). Decisions, decisions. At first I was reluctant to hand over my faithful SE, but as soon as I laid my eyes on the sleek blue and silver clamshell casing, I knew I’d have to abide to my end of the deal. ...
...as I was still set in the ways of the old phone, but things would have been made a hell of a lot easier if I’d bothered to read the supplied instruction booklets (I seldom do). The feature I anticipated most of all was the in-built camera. My previous phone’s camera had an inconvenient camera attachment that produced pictures of grainy quality, to say the least, so I was immediately at an advantage. This phone’s picture quality is among the best ...

...I settled on the Samsung E700 based on the look and feel of the phone and a couple of features demonstrated to me in the shop that I will come onto later. I should say at this point that, despite my love of Nokia phones, I am very pleased with this phone and have no regrets about upgrading to it. I have had it for approaching a year and have had very few issues with it. The issues I have had have been relatively small and easily fixable. I was first ...
...Like all good phones it has a tasteful and classy appearance. There is no gimmick to the appearance of the phone; it has a functional and stylish design. It is a clam-style phone with no external aerial. The outside of the phone is deep blue and silver in colour and has a small LCD screen on the top. The lens for the camera is just above this screen too. There is a button to access the camera on the right side of the phone and a volume control on ...

...I saw the new Samsung E720 and thought wow, what a cool sexy phone, but I didn't want another contract, but to buy it on pay as you go would cost me nearly £250, so I did alot of research on it and discovered the e700 which is the previous model.
