...a missed call. The old Samsung clam shells used to have a wee red light to tell you you had missed something! Bring that back Samaung! The E700 also has a very good array of games. I'm totally addicted to Honeyball, which by the way is a take off of the 1980's Commodore 64 game "Breakout"! I've saved the camera assessment for last. And this is why. I think this phone should do away with the camera, or make it a bit easier to download them ... Read review

I bought this phone purely because of its looks. I hadn't used one before and have got to say I am impressed! The phone comes with all the usual things, like the phone book, calendar, alarm, to do list, calculator and I was surprised to find out how easy it was to use. ...am very pleased with the Samsung E700 - it was the only phone I really considered as I wanted a small camera phone, and I had won £50 cashback if I bought I knew phone, from the Samsung fun club website! I got it for free on a very usable and not too expensive Orange tariff, so it is very good value considering it is a new phone. The outer 'OLED' screen is very good as the time and icons display stay lit up, even when the phone is idle. I find this very handy in darker conditions and its not too bright when left on at night. This outer screen is also used as a green and blue display when taking pictures of yourself. The volume keys and a shortcut camera button are located on either side of the phone. I've had my Samsung E700 for about 9 months now,and it really is one of the better mobile phones that I have owned. Its a great little flip-phone,nicely styled and very easy to use...I've never had any problems ever with this phone! The menu system is very easy to navigate and quite intuitive to use. I got my samsung e700 about a month ago now... i must say its not a patch on a nokia phone, the samsung fun club online is useless, another way to get you to spend money on ring tones and logos, something which in my opinion should be free when you have a £250 phone. my Nokia 6100 came with all the PC software on CD so i could create my own ring tones and logos, the e700 came with nothing but a hands free kit.
