Advantages: Superb Camera, decent MP3 player and FM Radio Disadvantages: Low Internal Memory, No GPS
...be honest with you; the Samsung Tocco (F480) was not my first choice mobile; I really wanted an iPhone. Sadly however, you can only acquire one of the Apple-esq wonders if you sell your soul and empty your wallet to O2. Don't get me wrong, I love O2; they have been my one and only network provider and the service has always been faultless. But whereas now I am paying £15 a month for a decent amount of texts and minutes, the lowest tariff for the iPhone ...

Advantages: It's a phone... Disadvantages: ... when it works
...sensitivity. When I read that Samsung was releasing a touch screen phone called the Tocco I literally spat out a mouthful of putrefied goat's milk. Tocco is Italian for touch, so how many hotpots and involving how many Samsung executives for the Korean company were used when deciding on the name for the phone? It's like mixing kimchi with ice cream.
With such a fusion of epic nastiness, you would also expect the phone to be a sod load of puck, ...

...and played music, an old Samsung that sadly met its untimely end when he went swimming with it in his pocket while we were on holiday in Thailand. His last phone was the Nokia N95 which I inherited after he died. I used it for a few weeks before passing it on to our daughter, who thought it was really cool and had been eyeing it up ever since her dad had got it.
I was happy with my Motorola RAZR V3i as I really didn't need an MP3 player in my phone ...

...hadn't heard much about the Samsung Tocco so I had to make my own mind up about it.
When I got the Tocco it was pretty hard to get a hold of. I had to figure out which button went where and what the widgets are. But once I had mastered this which only took a couple of hours it was easy to use. The touch screen allows easy movability. What else I liked about the phone was that it came with a protective case. This protective case is small and covers ...

...quickly changed it for the Samsung Tocco as testing have previously owned Samsung phones & have been extremely pleased with them as i am with this. The first thing that stood out to me about this phone was the size of the screen which compared to other phones I have had is huge! It is also a very slim phone which for me adds to the appeal.
When I first bought this phone back in June I couldn't wait to get home & try it out & I wasn't disappointed! ...

The Samsung F480 (Tocco) is a stylish touch screen phone, it is rated as the second best phone on the Samsung website (Omnia was first). In my opinion this one should have been first as I personally prefer it to the Omnia. It weighs 106g and it's dimensions (HxWxD) are 98.4 x 55 x 11.6mm.
Features
The phone has a variety of features, these are:
* 2.8" touch screen.
* Up to 3 hours talk time.
* Up to 250 hours standby time.

Advantages: Sleek, Easy to Use, Disadvantages: Bit Expensive if Bought Outright
I first got my Samsung Tocco [it's more commonly known as a Tocco than the SGH-F480] to a feeling of relief. My Dad had ordered it as part of our switch-over from the dastardly BT to the incredibly accommodating Virgin. However, after several bad experiences with ordering phones over the internet I was fully expecting a full week or two to go by before I was the owner of the Tocco. Not so, as the day after I spoke to a lovely bloke called Nick over ...

Advantages: Innovative, fun to use Disadvantages: takes getting used to
I got the Samsung F480 recently as a free upgrade from my contract provider, I don't think I would have paid for this phone as I'm fairly clumsy and wouldn't have been convinced the large screen would have lasted more than a month.
The phone itself however isn't as fragile as it looks and I haven't managed to do any damage to it yet (Despite dropping it on several occasions and sitting on it once.) I'm not going to go in all the technical details ...

Advantages: Good features and applications, good looking phone Disadvantages: Touch screen too sensitive, poor battery life, poor flash facility on camera
The Samsung SGH-F480 is a great looking, slimline sleek little phone, but in my opinion these touch screen mobiles are vastly over-rated.
The F480 has a wide range of features, camera, mp3, radio, camcorder, bluetooth etc etc and the quality of the features is never in doubt, its simply too sensitive!
For instance when making a phone call, you push the phone too closely to your ear and you cut off the caller! Subsequently, you cannot hear the caller ...

Advantages: Great features, and stylish! Disadvantages: On the odd occasion the phone will freeze
I have had my Samsung for 5 months now and I love it! The stylish design and the easy to use main menu. The phone has alot of feature 5 mega pix camera, video, completely touch screen, Bluetooth, internet browser,3G calling, 8gb memory card ect. In my opinion when I first brought the phone I was shocked at how much this item was, but when I started to use this phone and took advantage of all its features I didn’t mind paying that extra. I bought this phone about a month ago. Very easy to use from the start. Comes with cover as well which is really usefull, as protects the screen.
The range of features is brilliant, all via touch screen.
You can access all you fav applications via drag and drop option to save you going into the main menu.
The camera is 5 mp giving amazing picture. And the flash is good too as on some phones this can be a let down.
The MP3 player is good, ...

Tocco Me =D Review ofSamsung SGH-F480by

Advantages: Fantastic camera, great touchscreen with haptics, sound quality awesome, really fast browsing Disadvantages: Screen quality could be better, easily scratched
This is a fantastic little phone!
At first, I was a little upset at the camera quality - being a 5MP camera, you expect a lot from this little thing, so first shots were disappointing, but when you get the right settings for photos - WOAH! this camera really comes into it's own!
Another fantastic thing is the haptics system, which provides vibration feedback when you press a button on-screen, to give you the feeling that you are touching an actual ...

Texting takes a bit of getting used to, but I'm just about getting there now! The touch screen isn't hard to use, its actually very easy and the menus are all easy to navigate around too.
