...a week ago also a Samsung G800. I'll be refereing to these other handsets for camparion reasons periodically thoughout the review.
The handset is of excellent build quality, feels heavy in your hand when compared to the Viewty, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on if you like a handset which weights very little. I like to feel that somethings in my hand and therefore like the weight of it.
As you may or may not be aware the F700 comes ... ...A big let down from Samsung on this handset as i feel the screen and it's touch sensitivity could have been tweaked to make it more user friendly and more resposive to touch. I felt myself getting frustrated with it on a number of occasions as my input was ignored, having only then had to touch the screen a further few times to get to my required destination in the menu.

The Samsung F700 is a great touch screen phone. It comes with a 2.78 inch TFT 262K colour screen.
It has a 3 megapixel with autofocus and flash. It has different photo effects. It also has a second camera for video calling. The video recorder records in MP4 format with different quality levels. It also has a video streaming feature.
When looking at the messaging features of the Samsung F700 it allows you to send SMS, EMS, MMS and E-mails. These ... ...which is great.
The Samsung F700 has a music player which plays a variety of formats including MP3 which is the most popular format. You can also make your own play list for your favourite songs. It has polyphonic ringtone as well as MP3 ringtones and you can also have vibration alerts.
It is a JAVA enabled phone so if already comes with some games for you to play and you will also be able to download some more games.

All in all an awesome phone, paricularly for the constant texter. Texting speeds increase rapidly with the use of the phone and it is a much more enjoyable experience doing so with it. Also has a huge amount of features including the great and loud music player. However the camera is a major dissapointment even though it is a 3 megapixel, performs to a standard much less than this and don't even think of taking a picture whilst on the move or of ... ...is a blurry mess. Another problem i have discovered is that the phone tends to freeze often and needs to be left alone for a few seconds before working again perfectly moments later. Phone is also very large which can be uncomfortable in your pocket, however for looking at photos or videos this is a massive benefit as video quality is prity awesome when not recorded by the built in camera. ...weak. It's 3.0 megapixels, but Samsung cameras aren't brilliant at taking pictures compared to the likes of Sony Ericsson and Nokia anyway, so if you want a phone purely for taking pictures, this wouldn't be the phone I would recommend.
However, Samsung F700 does include applications like Youtube, Google Maps , Hotmail, Google Mail, Facebook etc. The web surfing is almost perfect. The size of the screen makes it easier to use the net as well as ... ...etc! Also, calling on the F700 is excellent since it has a long calling time and the connection quality is really good. So far, I have had no problems calling anyone, so I have to credit it for that.
A feature I really enjoy about this phone is that I can view my Microsoft Word documents on it, and since I write a majority of the time, it does often come in handy. So to all of you aspiring writers, this phone is for you.

Despite the phone having a host of features - from touch screen through to QWERTY keyboard, and the all important 3 megapixel (MP) camera...using them is another thing. All phones take a while to get used to, but the F700 takes a long time to perfect the skill of scrolling and navigation, as well as the unusually small QWERTY keyboard. The phone is prone to freezing when switching between landscape and portrait screens. The 3MP comes out as well ... ...quality vivid screen. Also the high quality wide screen is perfect for navigating websites AND watching films. I got this phone for my birthday last year, it looked really nice, and had a keyboard which was just what i wanted. It's also a touch screen which is always nice to have. It was really expensive, I think it was around £300 when it was bought. Of course for that money I was expecting alot! I was very wrong... This phone is simply not good enough for the price! I opted for this mobile phone instead of the iPhone for one main reason. The QUERTY KEYBOARD!; Definitley a great feature for ease of texting which other phones lack.
It looks sleek, and it is quite an exclusive phone. Most of your friends will not have one due it only being exclusive to Vodaphone.
Battery life is quite good, and the large screen is great for viewing pictures. It has a 3.2mp camera which may not be as high as phones such as the ... ...main thing which I am dissapointed with is the lack of wi-fi, which is unfortunate as upto this point this phone is the recipe of the ultimate phone on the market. If wi-fi isn't important to you then this phone is great.
I myself shall be changing to an N95 as I need wi-fi - however the F700 is still great. ...
