Advantages: amazing phone, has everything you could ever really want. Disadvantages: small memory, but that's easy to fix.
It was too long, but my original title was going to be:
"phone, camera, mp3 player, games console, instant messager, internet browser, but no cofffee machine?"
That says quite alot, it has retty much everything. It is only yesterday that I went out and bought this phone in blue, on tesco mobile. It cost me £69.97 from tesco, with £20 free credit, so for a phone it was very reasonably priced. It is fair to say that so far I have found very very ... ...sub-modern phone, but no, way way better than that!!!
Looks...
The phone is very slim, average when it comes to how tall it is and width wise it is very thin. It has touch sensitive pads, something I was unsure about as I have heard bad reports about them on phones such as the lg chocolate, but these work well, though they are sensitive and can be a little hard to get used to. Never the less very good. The phone is blue in colour, a sort of royal ...

...to do with my new samsung j600?! It means it has a lot to live up to. how has it shaped up? Well firstly it was locked to 02 who I despise so £15 later it was unlocked, not a good start but you can buy them unlocked. The functionality of the phone takes a bit of getting used to especially if youre not used to a slider. the four way joypad is programable but the shortcuts are pretty much what I use. The four touch sensitive buttons on the front panel ... ...superb and with the excellent samsung PC software you can also convert videos to watch, which makes the micro SD card slot very handy. The media player is fairly easy to use but if youre downloading music from your PC it's best not to use the software as there is no option to download to the SD card and the 20MB internal memory fills up quickly, instead go into my computer and choose what should be an E drive or maybe F, that will be your phones ...

Advantages: Great looking, good features, robust and user friendly Disadvantages: Touch sensetitive buttons are a pain!
..., I had the old Samsung D500 and the menu options are the same - this is nice to see as some manufacturers keep changing the menu options, so if you are use to Samsung Menus then you will have no problems at all.
Good number pad for phoning, numbers not too small - flat buttons (i.e. not raised).
I have had no problems with reception.
Display is fine, only problem is when the slider is down (i.e. most of the time) there is no display showing, ... ...if I want to see the time I have to slide the phone open, there may be a way to change it and I have just not figured it out yet!! Also it means that you can't tell if the phone is on or off just by looking at it - but it's not a great hassle, just something I am use to so will need to get use to no display I guess.
The radio is easy to use with an auto search function.
Memory is not great, but this can be sorted with a memory card.
Easy to transfer ...

Advantages: Everything great internet, games, bluetooth and much more Disadvantages: memory but it can be fixed
I brought this mobile phone recently as my old one had died on me.
I went into my o2 shop and looked around. I just wanted a cheap mobile then I saw this phone.
The price was resonable price it was priced at £59.99. I had been on o2 for a long time and they gave me money off so it was even cheaper which was great.
You do have to pay for £10 airtime but the phone without discount was still a bargin!
It had alot on it e.g. internet, mp3 player, ... ...had four touch screen buttons which you have to get use to otherwise you can phone people while reading a text
you just have to get use to it which doesnt take long.
The phone
The one i have icked is blue you can also get this pone in pink.
It is a slide phone and the touch buttons light up also blue when the phone is pushed up this also means that the phone is unlocked.

...before being undecided between the Samsung J600 and the Samsung W810i. However, I was out shopping with my friends and saw the Samsung J600 in Woolworths for only £59.99. On a spur of the moment decision, I decided to buy the Samsung J600. It was the pink version, exclusive to O2. Getting home and opening the box was so exciting! ...with. So, how does this Samsung measure up? To start with I was fairly impressed. I'd say 5 stars for value for money, as I got it for free on a Virgin contract at a tenner a month for 100 minutes / 100 texts - plenty enough for my needs. The music player is very good, though I hardly use it, the games are decent enough to pass a few minutes from time to time, the screen is lovely and clear, and the menu system is simple and easy to navigate through. ... ...the PC link is well featured and easy to use. To be honest that's about as much as I've used of the phone's functions, so this review is based on that.
Downsides? The touch sensitive buttons are far too sensitive to begin with, meaning you can have problems hitting the wrong key at the wrong time, especially if you have chunky fingers! What's worse now on my phone is that one of these keys doesn't work at all - the backspace key for use in texts, ...

when i first bought this phone, i was really happy with its add-ons and its... well... everything. i got this phone on 02 and decided that it was my fav phone... 5 months down the line and my opinions had chaged. i started the see how sluggish the opperating system is and how limited it was with custom layouts and how you could not choose a message tone from your files nor could you have an alarm tone outside the standard ones... this i found very ... ...be used very quick cause it saves all messages you send.... all this, i could live with...
however, i knocked it off a coffee table at home (2ft max) and the drop caused some damage which made it seem even worse... i noticed that after a few days, the slide was a little 'gritty' and 'rough' but thought nothing off it.
a few more days and the slide now did not work at all... not that it did not slie, but one side now lifted away from the phone and ...

Advantages: Great graphics, excellent music player. Disadvantages: Flimsy, ultra sensitive front buttons, hard to navigate menu.
I bought this phone a couple of days ago, and took it back today. I understand that many people like this phone, however while i agree it has many great features it is not the easiest phone in the world to use. It looks great, has some excellent programs (ie, music player) but there weren't many ringtones and message tones. The games on it were only 90 second demo's, you had to download the full games if you wanted them. It is easy to get lost in ... ...Nokia's) And the touch buttons on the front slide of the phone are ultra sensitive, to the point where i couldn't even slightly accidently brush my hand arcoss the front without exiting the program i was in or calling someone. It is a flimsy phone and feels like it is likely to snap at any second. And i had to buy a hard case for it because i've heard the screen is easily cracked. It may be a great phone for some, but not for me. ...

Advantages: Slim, robust, good looking, partly touch screen Disadvantages: Sometimes doesnt send messages straight away - you have to retry
I brought this phone about a year ago and it has not had any problems.
It charges well, holds power, has not broken even though it has dropped onto concrete while i was running on many occaisions, it has been stood on, dropped in snow and got wet in the rain and yet works perfectly. (only 1 tiny scratch too!)
The only downside is that if you want to listen to the radio you have to put the headphones in, even if you are playing the radio loud through ... ...charge the phone at the same time as this is done through the same port. If you are anything like me however you prefer to put music on it instead.
It has an ok camera quality and has many settings.
It looks very sexy and if the keys lit up another colour part from white it would be GAWJUZ!
It comes with a CD so you can syncronise your phone and PC which is great for helping me organise my diary and phone book etc.
Also uploading music and transfering ...

Seriously... seriously I am very disapointed with this phone. It was going to be a gift from my lother to my father but he didn't want it so I ended up keeping it, but to tell you the truth the happyness of such a new allegedly modern phone didn't last long.
Sure it's a cool looking small phone, but alit's glitches made me mad, sometimes I even felt like breaking it in half.
I've had it for maybe a year now, and since then it has dialed people ... ...sensative at times, it has errased my texts before I got to send them for the same reason as my finger would slightly touch the erase too long and bye bye to all I wrote so far. The heating of the phone at the back, the problems when using mini opera web browser such as getting stuck or restarting... But I sort of got used to all that in a way trying to be patient, but the latest thing that happened to me on my so called sophisticated mobile phone ...

Advantages: everything you could ever want from a mobile phone Disadvantages: None whatsoever
This phone is quite honestly the best piece of technology you can buy for the cheapest amount of money.
Mine only cost me £63.97 which is quite cheap considering the list of features this phone includes. This phone has bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 1.3 megapixel video camera, an integral mp3 player and a radio as well as basic functions like s stopwatch and a voice recorder.
The interface is quite easy to use, with the top panel being ... ...on the side as well as an external shutter button and volume controls.
The unit itself has only twenty megabytes of memory but is compatable with micro SD memory cards so can be upgraded. The phone comes with a charger cable, a pair of headphones and a usb cable which all use the same port which is covered when not in use as is the memory slot.
The keypad itself is made of quite nice keys which are coloured the same colour as the handset and have ...

Great design, colour and useability! Truely a 'one in a million' Brilliant battery life, great features and a very good buy for your money!! If you'e looking for a budget mobile, then look no further. I picked up the J600 for just £25 from Virgin Mobile and was amazed at what I got for such a small price.
