Advantages: Small, Light, stylish, Excellent signal. Disadvantages: Gets lost in my bag.
...what I thought of my Samsung S300M.
My boyfriend’s best friend works in a mobile phone shop. So when asking him about Samsung S300M, he said it was a nice phone, which ill have to agree with.
I can also say its very light and small.
It’s a flip up front kind of phone so its smaller than what im use too, if anyone’s bag is like mine, it does have a habit of getting lost in there when its ringing when im trying to find it, having to make my way ... ...the right hand side.
The Samsung has 45 different ringtones and you can also download 12 ringtones. You have the choice aswell to have it vibrate when it rings, you can set it up if you wanted it.
You can set your ringtones into ring groups. For example I have my boyfriend in his own ring group so it rings differently to everyone else who calls me. So I know just but the ringtone it’s playing, that would be the other half.
The ringtones are polyphonic ...

Advantages: Small & sleek**light design**Triband technology**play java games**infra-red**stores up to 500 numbers on memory Disadvantages: No bluetooth**doesn't come with extended battery**battery life about 2 and a half days
I've owned the Samsung S300M since Christmas, as an upgrade to my contract, so I got this phone for free really. The first thing I noticed was it's small light design. Compared to my old Samsung (I've always liked Samsung, although their phones are very popular now anyway, and have become a kind of "fashion phone"), this phone felt tiny in my hand. It's a flip phone, with a small front screen which you can also use as a mirror. This is the first ... ...course, phoning people on. The Samsung S300M has those functions, as well as a lot more I was quite impressed by at the time:
**Tri-band technology
**WAP 1.2 (Internet)
**Downloadable java games
**Infra red
**Capacity to store up to 500 numbers **40 Polyphonic ringtones (most of them aren't that good to tell you the truth
**MMS
I also found that this phone has fantastic reception just about everywhere, apart from a couple of times on the train ...

Advantages: small, sleek and cool Disadvantages: volume
Samsung GH-S300M is the first Samsung phone which I bought. Although the market was full of unique camera phones, I settled for this mobile phone. Its sleek, beautiful, slim and the best part, it is small. It is smaller than my palm. It is suitable for people like me, where everything I use is small. It fits in easily into my mini handbag or either the jeans of my pocket. No one can notice that I have a mobile in my pockets. However, this phone is ... ...this slightly defaulted criteria, the Samsung SGH-300M is one of the best phones I've ever used. Did I say that it is very durable. I have dropped it a couple of times and nothing went wrong with it. The flip was intact there was not even one scratch on it. Basically, this phone is the best basic cute phone ever used if you are not the high-technology gadgety type of person. Its perfectly suitable for a daily use. ...

Advantages: Small, light, WAP Disadvantages: hardly any games
I got this phone a year ago and it was my first foray into a contract phone. It was everything I wanted - clamshell, small, sleek, colour and for a year now I have loved it.
It has the featured MMS but I've only used this a few times and the fun of going on the internet at every available moment did die down after the first month especially once I saw my phone bill!
The battery life is fantastic usually about 4 days and when you charge it up (if ... ...duck wandering across the screen advising you it's charging!
The only downside I've found about this is that I couldn't download any new games on it as it's not compatible which was very annoying at first but I did get used to it in the end.
To navigate through the different sections is very easy and the keys, although small, are easy to use. The screen is quite large approx 3cm x 3cm and is clear and crisp with the colours. You can change the ...

Advantages: Small, Sexy, Attactive Disadvantages: Quiet ringtone, sometimes "forgets" messages while writing
...sense (and I've had the Samsung for quite a few months now....). But that's not a major problem, although even now there are some things I can't find when I want them.
What does but me is how QUIET it is. If I'm anywhere with any sort of noise - even just in a conversation - I can't always hear the phone ring. When I do hear it, I'll discover that it's actually the answerphone calling me back for the 3rd or 4th time, which is annoying because it ... ...if I'm out and about - there is no change of hearing it ring then. The vibrate is good, but you can't feel that unless it's against your body (the most likely way of knowing it's calling is to HEAR it VIBRATE, on a table for example.
The other thing that bugs me is the text messaging. Changing from normal small to normal capitals to symbols (yes, a whole separate setting for symbols) to numbers to predictive is one button. But if I want CAPITAL ...

Advantages: small, neat, looks smart Disadvantages: ariel, my fat fingers!
...Lighter! I've had my new samsung about a month now, and I'm really pleased with it. Its small and neat and seems well built. I found the aerial annoying tho, so I purchased a stubby one off e-bay, which is much better. I downloaded a new op logo as soon as I got my new phone and that was easy to do and to set up. If not cheap!! I like the menu's they seem well structured and easy to use, and I never seem to have a problem finding the right number ... ...battery life on my phone seems fine, it lasted me over a week without needing charging, and I wouldn't expect more than that.
The only problem I've had is on occaisions my fat fingers press the wrong button and I have to start over again, But thats probably my fault, my fingers need a diet!!
I'm on the T3 network on a 12 month contract for £14.50 with a free phone, cashback and 25 anytime minutes. The reception has been great with this network ...
