Advantages: Slim, light and easy to navigate Disadvantages: Having an Orange contract which connection/signal is always a problem
...saw the latest model of Samsung P300 on display, and without any hesitation, I signed a 12-month's term with O2. The contract covered unlimited calls and text for 25 pounds per month.
When this contract expired last year, I decided to have a new contract with Phones4U for a longer term - 18 months. Again, I chose the handset that stood out from the rest of the units on display, another Samsung model, SGH-U600. Unfortunately, I could not have O2 ...

...comes attractively packaged in a Samsung box and it includes the handset and battery, a USB cable to connect to the computer, software in order to manage your media files and transfer items to/from the phone, a mobile phone charger, headphones for your mobile phone and a user's manual.
Overall - this phone is, in my opinion, brilliant. The quality is so high, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and the applications are useful and fun to ...

...I would review my old Samsung U600. When this first came out, I loved it. I was so desperate to get it that I swapped an upgrade with a colleague so I could upgrade to it there and then and he would have my upgrade a few months later. Was the U600 worth all this hassle? Let's find out.

This phone is available in many different colours either on contract or pay as you go. At the time of my purchase, only Midnight ...

...has to be the slimmest Samsung phone I have ever had, at first I was worried about dropping it as it may break! But after 2 weeks of owning the phone and a few drops here and there. Not only is it still not scratched but still working, which is a plus for me.
My U900 is purple and I only had a choice of purple or purple, so I went with the purple one. I have looked into over colours on other networks and at the car phone warehouse you get more ...

Computer software
***************
The Samsung software is really good. A revelation to me really. Easy exchange of video and mp3 from computer to the phone which was picked up with ease. Simple drag-and-drop affair. The phone has 60Mb memory which is expandable via a microSD card which slots into the side. The software will also sync with outlook for numbers and addresses as well as your calendar info. The software actually ...

Not too shabby! Review ofSamsung SGH U600 Ultra Edition 10.9by

Advantages: Looks great, awsome features and easy to use Disadvantages: Pretty delicate, don't play catch with it!
I've had the Samsung SGH U600 for a couple of months now and it's battered! The phone which I had before I got an upgrade was in better condition after a year than the one I have now! It's not the type of phone you can just throw into your bag or pocket, not that I'm careless with it but the screen is especially scratched, which is a shame because it's a great looking phone, really sleek and shiny. But if you don't really care what your phone looks ...

Advantages: Style, range of features, interface Disadvantages: Very sensitive, long wait on camera
After previously owning a Samsung D800 slide phone and being extremely impressed with the interface and ease of use, i thought i would keep with the same design when recently upgrading to a contract. After owning it for a couple of months it has exceeded all expectations and is a massive improvement on my previous model.
One of the main attractions with this phone is the slide mechanisms, which has really been adopted bu Samsung lading to an impressive ...

...day, visually its the best Samsung phone I've seen ever. But does the "personality" match the looks?
The box itself is so small, so slim, so compact that it gives you a taste of things to come. When you open the sleek blue box, you get the handset, the battery, the charger, a pair of headphones, a USB cable,CD software, User Guide booklet and other random leaflets. These are all the bog standard accessories that you would expect to get from a phone. ...

Advantages: Elegant, stylish phone with lots of features. Disadvantages: Very short life overall.
This phone has been my thinnest yet, measuring 10.9mm in thickness. I realise now that it isn't among the thinnest of phones, however at the time of purchase (about 18 months ago) it was indeed a very thin phone. The U600 is a very elegant looking slide phone boasting a 2.22" LCD screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and video camera, an FM radio, voice recorder and MP3 player, quad band (amongst other things)- all features that, actually, I did use and ...

Advantages: It does what it needs to most of the time and looks cool Disadvantages: Clumsy and easy to do things accidentally, and doesnt always work
Update - Jan 2009
I have now had my phone for just under a year. In October I had to get it replaced because the screen wouldnt turn on. It was they replaced with a refurbished phone (virgin mobile policy) and that last about 2 weeks before it developed white lines across the screen. This got increasingly worse over the following couple of weeks and I have not used the phone since before xmas because it is impossible to read from the screen. ...

It is a nice looking phone, grey, small and thin, you can carry it in your pocket without it being too bulky. It is a slide phone with a large screen. The number buttons are under the screen and are displayed when you slide the phone down. The menu and call and hang up buttons are touch screen.

Camera- It has a 3.2 mega pixel ...

The Samsung U600 is the first Samsung phone I've owned since being on Mobile contract, my only had previous experience with one being my girlfriend's D600 phone, but don't worry I have much to tell.
I've used a number of phones over the years, Sony, Motorola and of course now Samsung. Today all phones come with the standard features you'd expect, camera, MP3 player, colour screen - I feel these are expected. What does catch my attention however ...

Advantages: Looks sleek and stylish, decent camera, easy to use Disadvantages: Unreliable, undurable, poor battery life, awful touch sensitive buttons
I got the Samsung U600 as a replacement to my Nokia N73 which I found to be a bit on the bulky side. I chose the U600 as it was very lightweight and slim and featured a pretty decent spec, including a 3 mega pixel camera.
My first impressions were very good. The phone was indeed ultra slim, the sliding mechanism was slick and smooth to operate, and the chromed buttons looked pretty cool too.
The first chink in the U600's armour was in my opinion ...

This phone has a slim body but reversed its thinness, this phone has modern features such as the SOS message, Mobile Tracker, and TV Output.
Aspects of design that looks stylish and modern is one of the attraction of this phone, apart from some other kinds of capabilities on this phone. Advantages: Smart, 3.2 megapixel camera Disadvantages: Touch sensitive buttons
This phone came as a free upgrade on and O2, £20 a month contract. It's pretty, it's smart, and does everything it says on the tin, but a couple of flaws makes it slightly less than spectacular.
Straight out of the box, you know you're on to a winner. It doesn't feel cheap and plastic, and slides up and down gracefully. The only real design flaw, which has been mentioned time and again, is the touch sensitive buttons. You will get used to these ...
