Advantages: Powerful and speedy, Lots of memory, Good battery life, Good Connectivity Disadvantages: No voice dialling, A bit fiddly, Stylus on a string
...bit fed up with my Samsung SGH-i600 as I found it a bit on the slow side and the lack of a touch screen limited what I can do on the Windows Mobile operating system. I selected the the Samsung SGH-i900 (aka: OMNIA) to be worthy of becoming the replacement. It's supposed to be an "iPhone killer" and similarly, has a full touch screen interface.
I bought my Omnia on eBay for £366 to avoid increasing my contract cost with Orange. I threatened to leave ...

*NEGA REVIEW!*
The Samsung Omnia is Samsung’s attempt in creating an all-in-one phone. They call it the Omnia because they were so confident that it could do everything, but the fact is it can’t. It is a bit like your dad, he tries to do everything but he sucks at most of them. Some would say that this phone is a mixed bag, but is it a mixed bag as per the classic term of good and bad, or is it one of these mixed bags where: your mum cleans up ...

The Samsung Omnia SGH-i900V
I recieved my Samsung Omnia just over a month ago and to date it has been as impressive as the first day. It has many amazing features which i will explain later. However do note that samsung have not released the latest firmware for the phone, so some features you may have seen or heard about with the phones software may not be accesible unless you find and install the firmware update like i did. If you love using a ...

...but it was tempting. The Samsung Omnia is what they came up with as a substitute to the iPhone. I explained they would be having it back if it wasn't up to scratch...I still have it five months later.
The Samsung Omnia has everything you could be looking for in a phone plus more. It has Microsoft mobile which is very user-friendly, a decent MP3 player (if that is something you want), great email capabilities and it has good access to the internet. ...

Advantages: Display, Accelerometer, Battery life, Call quality, Software Disadvantages: No keyboard or stylus makes texting hard
Overall the Omnia is an excellent phone. I chose it over the Sony-Ericson Xperia, and the recent HTC phones. I have no regrets on the purchase but I'm going to outline what I think are the best and worst aspects of the phone.
First, display, video, call quality and reception are all fantastic. Battery life is decent. The phone is pretty fast too - no laggy menus, and the menus themselves are pretty well laid out. Camera is fantastic and has a bright ...

...it to be. The regular Samsung menus are comparable to other Samsung handsets, and better to use. The phone also get ridiculously bad reception. In areas where I know reception should be good, this phone won't connect.
When I was sold this phone in the shop I was told the Opera internet system was excellent and rivalled the iPhone's internet access. In reality it is slow and clunky, and I prefer to use the slightly better but not brilliant Interent ...

Advantages: Very good looking, loads of features Disadvantages: Screen scratches very easily, touch screen could be better
The Samsung Omnia is without a doubt a very good phone. I bought one on recommendation from a friend and am very pleased with it. The phone itself looks very good and is quite compact and light. There are absolutely loads of features, some of which I don't even use. MS Notebook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel are all very useful for carrying files instead of using a memory stick. Similarly, lots of mp3 files can be stored in the phone instead of using ...

Quick review of Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia Review ofSamsung SGH-i900 Omniaby

I got my new Samsung Omnia about a month ago, while the look and feel is great it seems a bit slower compared to my XDA IIs. Also I found the memory allocation can not be adjusted between programs and storage, on XDA you can easily do this. I have installed just 4 simple programs from SPB in My storage area yet the storage space in my device as dropped to 8Mb and about 52Mb for Programs!. If i recieve few emails that is the end of it I get messages saying I am low on Memory! Wish there was a fix that would make OMNIA a better unit. Finally a space for Stylus would have been good.

Advantages: looks good, Wifi, 5MP camera, plenty of storage Disadvantages: camera is awful, lags a lot, slow start up, no storage for stylus, bad battery life
The Samsung Omnia is one of those phones that looks perfect on paper. 5MP camera, lots of memory (8gb), Wifi, inbuilt MP3 player... it was all the things I had been looking for. But in reality, the Samsung Omnia is less than perfect.
Pros:
- It looks great, but is extremely prone to scratching I've found.
- Packed with features
- 5MP camera
- 8gb of storage
- Wifi
- Speedy when it wants to be
Cons:
- The camera is terrible, image stabiliser does ...

Advantages: Great for email. Excellent touch screen. Large viewing screen Disadvantages: The battery seems to not last long if web browsing
I have had this phone for 5 monts now and could not live without it. I use it mainly for accessing my emails while out and about. It was easy to set this up with a Google Mail account and easy to use.
I would say the phone is mainly for business use rather than just as a everyday phone. For this the connection with Microsoft products it excellent.
I havent really used the music features as I tend to prefer my ipod.
The camera gives clear ...
