Here we are, a superb hard disk. Quiet, durable and fast. With a 7200rpm spin speed and its SATA interface, this drive is the perfect desktop hard disk. I've now installed two of these in a RAID stripe, and they've always been fast and reliable. However, that's all good and dandy and stuff, but many, many hard disks last a very long time, serving their computer impeccably year after year. What should make this one different? I've had this Sata2 hard drive for a while now, and i have been very impressed by several factors which i considered when buying the item. Firstly, the Samsung Spinpoint drives are very silent and can hardly be heard over the system and CPU fan. Ive used several hard drives from Western Digital before this and I am also impressed by its better performance even though they are both 7200rpm SATA2 drives. The capacity of the drive is 250GB and quite frankly, that is a huge amount of storage for music and pictures. Video on the other hand eats up storage like theres no tomorrow. Is 250GB enough ... more
