Packaging
The monitor is packaged extremely well - the box is small, but the polythene inside protects the monitor from damage. The box opened from the side, which is always preferable to lifting the monitor from the top and risking damage. The monitor itself was also inside a protective padding, to prevent screen damage.

The Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW is the latest in Samsung's TFT monitors range and looks great. The monitor has a smooth design to it and beautiful curves which isn't common with TFT's. Samsung have made the design similar to there HD LCD TV's which is a step in the right direction for sure.

It's slick, black, stylish images are better than in real life. It's a good size and has a great definition. On the other hand, the fixture to the base feels flimsy and it lacks the usefulness of being able to be moved to the side.
That said, I'm looking at it now and it's great. When I look at my previous monitor, I feel sorry for myself that I have lived life without it. I'd buy another - seriously....and no, I don't work for Samsung and I'm not Mr.Samsung.
Overall, it's great for the price when I compared it to other monitors. 2ms and 3000:1 contrast. There was nothing better in the store....seriously.

The colours on the Samsung are much bolder and clearly defined due to the high contrast ratio. This panel has a 2ms response speed which makes it perfect for even the most serious gamer.
Although the unit is feature packed and of excellent quality the suprisingly slim casing means that you don't have to sacrifise that precious workspace to benefit from the larger screen size.

Very pleased. Fantastic colour reproduction. Great looking. Good, easy to use features. No ghosting and works great reproducing movies. If you can get this for less than £210 you have a bargain.

have upgraded to this Samsung 22" monitor from a Dell plug and play 17" and.... im utterly speechless. Its so crystal clear its unbelievable, the colors are so bright if i turned my bedroom light off the monitor could light the entire room (tried, tested, proven =P). Im over the moon with this monitor, thank you so so much for the speedy delivery (ordered on Sunday and arrived Tuesday) and giving me the chance 2 own this good brand, high quality monitor for such an amazing price.

This is an excellent product when its fully functional. When you unwrap this item and test it out, it appears as though this is non different from any other monitor. However, you will need to use the driver installation CD that this item came with to see the true joys of this. Once you have loaded the drivers, rebooted your machine, you will see a crystal clear image.
It seems as though the price is right too. I remember the first ever Samsung 15" TFT I purchased, it was £460 - at the time VERY expensive - this item however is excellent for the price.
A MUST buy - watching movies on this thing is like going to the Cinema!!
