Advantages: Great display, reliable, easy to use Disadvantages: None
...horrible headache!!! But i rang samsung and they shipped me another one straight away, apparently it was just a manufacturing fault!!! My new one had a crystal clear display and i never had problems with it! It showed DVD's very well and every page was shown correctly!!! No need to install anything because as with most monitors... all you have to do is plug them in!!! Samsung have definitely produced a great TFT monitor here for anyone and everyone! ...

Review of Samsung SyncMaster 223BW
Advantages: Great Connectivity, Quality and appearance. Disadvantages: Can't think of any :)
...bottom. Now personlly, I love samsung products, as they always manage to produce items with such style, like this one. Silver and black make a perfect combination. ==Conectivity== Theres one feature, which I love about this product. Once again, I am unsure if this is with all models, but it has both a VGA and DVI input. I have used this in the past for both PC and Xbox 360. The source button on the front alows the quick switch between the two. Its ... ...information is available on the samsung site. I actually have not a single bad thing to say about this product. Its great in every way. I think theres a model above this with a slightly slower response time. If you have the money I'm sure its worth it, but I'm perfectly happy with this one.
So overall, I would recomment the item to anyone who is intrested in upgrading their monitor, and has the cash to spare.
Thanks for reading. ...

Advantages: Good viewing area, Reasonably priced, Easy to set up, Good looks Disadvantages: Stand can be awkward to adjust for viewing angle
After upgrading to this monitor from a 17" TFT, I was very impressed with the difference. The obvious difference is the space you have for your desktop - 22", whilst not the biggest screen on offer, is more than enough to get plenty of working space on the desktop, and also offers a great view of games. It runs at a maximum resolution of 1680x1050, which makes games look extremely crisp. The response time is 5ms, again not the best but still fast ... ...casing itself is glossy black, and is nice and compact around the screen, so it doesn't look bulky on the desktop. It can also be tilted or swiveled to find the perfect viewing angle. Overall, I'd give this a 8/10, losing points as there are better monitors out there, but for someone on a budget looking for a decent sized monitor this is a good choice. ...

Quick review of Samsung SyncMaster 223BW
For the price I paid, this was a bargain. The quality is excellent, it's quite light for a screen this size. The stand is solid and safe but on the flipside it does not adjust upwards. The response times are good (you'd need a really fast graphics card to be bothered by ghosting and not just mild lag!). I has a lovely dark casing with a timeless design (none of these fancy pebbles that you'll regret buying in 6 months!). The layout is simple but effective, the ports all work well (HDMI for me) and it is silent (no buzz or anything).
Overall, excellent - cheap to buy but not cheap technology (if you get me!) ...

Advantages: High resolution, fast response time, bright Disadvantages: Can't tilt, annoying messages
I bought this for £165, which I think was a fantastic price. I'm looking for another one now, but can't find them for less than £210.
No hassle to get working, screw it to the stand and plug it in. The specs say it all really, 1600x1050 resolution, 5ms response time. Nice and bright, no dead pixels (in mine).
VGA and DVI inputs let you connect a PC and an xbox360, and switch between at the press of a button (something I find very useful anyhow).
... ...monitor (1600x1200 im using), a box pops up every time you come out of a full screen application, and only goes away when you press a button on the monitor. This can get quite annoying if you have to do it regularly.
Swivels easily, however I havn't been able to tilt mine, and I don't want to force it as I didnt see mention of a tilt function anywhere. Thankfully mines at the right height and the viewing angles are good anyway. ...
