...decided to upgrade to a Samsung SyncMaster 245B. Its native resolution of 1920x1200 is fantastic and the colours are so vivid. Playing gamers on it has never been so much fun, you can see so much and the screen is nice to look at. Its not as expensive as the Dell widescreens and in my opinion the screen is just as good, came packed with all necessary cables and 3 year standard manufacturer warranty. The TFT has a standard refresh rate of 60hz at ... ...doesnt effect it really. If your looking for a gaming/media experience in the home and want a superb TFT to look at for visual quality this wont dissapoint you. Its great value for money and made by a reputable brand. After hearing Rave reviews I bought one of these at around £310.
I was really looking forward to getting it, Anyway I was really disappointed, the big problem with this monitor is that the image isn't consistent across the screen.
It uses the cheaper TN LCD panel and because the screen is so big you really notice the poor viewing angle. The screen is noticeable darker at the top than the bottom.
To sum up, you get what you pay for, if you want ...
