...have an LCD TV by Samsung which we have had for about 3 years now and it is fantastic in every way, it has really made us like the make and when I saw this monitor was a Samsung it ticked the first box on my want list. The next thing was the fact that it had a 2 ms refresh rate, most monitors in this price range are 5 ms, and the 20000:1 dynamic contrast was a nice touch also. This monitor does everything I need it to do. I use the monitor as an external monitor for my laptop and it works very well. I had been worried that the constant connection and removal of my laptop may cause problems, this has not been the case. I had heard that the monitor was prone to shake on a desk, but this is most certainly not a problem, as the stand is in fact very stable.
