...for large branded company like Samsung and with this in mind I entered the store to investigate further. After checking the price was the same with the product in the catalogue I notice that it also came with a free gift, a Samsung Camcorder Accessory Kit worth £39, 99 which includes a Carry Case, spare battery and a sixty minute DVC Tape. I was sold and on the spur of the moment I immediately brought the camcorder!

Advantages: Light, easy to use, some very good funtions Disadvantages: The DV tapes are just a little bit on the expensive side (but its worth it)
This camera is great, its light, easy to use, stylish, modern and packed with clever technology. You certainly get a lot for your money. At under two hundred pounds it is perfect for amateur camera people, and all those moments you just have to catch on film.
I got one of these last christmas, with five DV tapes and a case! I had a quick read of the instruction manual and I was soon going through the camera settings working out what does what. A ... ...finishing touches to the Christmas Dinner. I filmed other bits and bobs of Christmas Day and by the end of the day, I had used up one of my five tapes. On boxing day I filmed some more, and I kept filming through out the period of time between Christmas and new year.

Advantages: it is easy to use for the beginner if you want to film all your cherished moments. Disadvantages: the battery life is short when using the lcd screen.
This camera is easy to use and fits quite nicely into your handbag for a night out.
It comes with a very thick instruction booklet which at times is a bit confusing, but it does cover all aspects of the camera.
The camera has a 2.5 inch liquid crystal display screen (lcd) to enable you to watch whilst you film or for playback. Depending on whether you film indoors or outdoors you can alter the brightness for the lcd.
The camera has a lens cap ... ...to remove and wonder what is up with the camera!!!)
It does have a built in microphone to record sound as well as vision.
The quality of film is excellent and can be played back through the tv or computer with the correct leads without transferring onto a dvd.
The camera is a minidv.
You can also take still photos as well as film which i like. Saves you having to take 2 camers out with you.
It comes with a lithium battery, a power pack, ac cord, ...

Advantages: A camcorder is a must in our life as it captures all the cherished moments of our life.. and I recommend the Samsung VP D361 as it is cheap compared to all others Disadvantages: The only disadvantage i can find is that we have pocket sized camcoders now which this one does not feature
