...tiny budget I chose the samsung as it seemed great for the money. So far the camcorder has been brilliant , easy to use, easy to transfer to tv, small, caompact and smart looking. The only real problem has been that it chewed a tape and we had to break the tape to get it out so we were upset about that. It would also be good if it came with the firewire lead as to a newcomer to camcorders the added hasle of buying one is a pain . However, overall ... Read review

Great Camcorder, i use it all the time when i go on days out and it hasnt failed me, and if you use the Dazzle software you can easily upload the MiniDV tape recordings onto your computer and edit them as you wish and burn them onto DVD

first of all the best thing that happend to me was the birth of my daughter, so i wanted to keep as much memories as poss. buying the samsung vp D371w was the second best thing as now when i want to remember the great time with my daughter i simply play all the tapes i made with this great camcorder. its so easy to use and looks very smart indeed, but best of all is how it makes my lovely memories that will last a life time.best thing i ever bought.
