As well as searching through your tracks by artist and by genre you can also include your own play lists. Advantages: Loud & clear fold out speaker, sleek stylish design, good battery life Disadvantages: Can be tricky to navigate the menus, no mains charger
I decided to get this mp3 player because i wanted something a bit different to all the Ipods out there.
This mp3 player is very well built, i was worried that the speaker would be a bit flimsy but the fold/slide action is very solid. I saw a video on youtube of them running it over with a truck and it still works! This particular model is the 4GB model which can hold around 1000 mp3 tracks of a reasonable quality (around 128 kb/ps)
The speakers ... ...put the volume at max, which is surprising considering thier size. If you are in a classroom full of people talking you can easily hear the music being played through this without a problem. The slide out feature of the speaker also makes it excellent as an alarm clock in the mornings, so you can wake up to your favourite music. A nice feature is that the music will start of softly and gradually get louder so it wont startle you.

Quick review of Samsung YP-K5JAB
I bought the samsung YP-K5JAB 4 GB Black after my previous mp3 player (ipod 20gb white) broke, and was instantly impressed with it. Its got a sleek design, looks good and is very easy to use. The software that comes with it is also very good. The speakers are a really good addition to the mp3 player, the sound quality is excellent and the volume is a good level. The 30 hours of battery life is also brilliant as it means your not constantly having to recharge it, or running out of battery. I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking of buying a new mp3 player. ...

The Samsung YP K5 mp3 player is immediately striking. Its sleek design and black finish would seamlessly fit into Batman's arsenal of gadgets. When I first bought the product it was immediately noticed by friends and strangers and as an aid to 'street rep' it works wonders. Advantages: Built in speakers, stylish Disadvantages: speakers are not loud at all
This MP3 player is unique and futuristic because of the touch pad, blue lights, and the fact that the back folds out into a speaker. The black colour also adds a good quality finishing touch.
The 4GB capacity is large compared to the size and functions of this mp3 player (Its small but still has a lot of functions) which makes it all worth buyig for.
You may see the speakers and think its large and capable of playing loud music, well it isnt loud ... ...is quite fragile, because it can fold out into speakers.
It is quite difficult to navigate through menus and tracks unless you are used to touch pads and sensitive buttons
Obviously their is a headphone jack.
The K5 is merely the name of the series of this MP3 player
The battery life is long and charges fully in a short period of time.
You can manually set songs in your chosen order which comes in very handy for some more organized people.
