...didn't get to use this Samsung YP-U2RXB 512MB mp3 player for a long time as it got lost just a few months after I got given it. The Mp3 Player is Black and Silver in colour, very slim, and looks rather smart. You can play MP3, WMA and WAV music format. The Mp3 Player doesn't play AAC (M4A) music format. For the reason that the MP3 player has 512MB of memory you can store up to 125 mp3 songs or up to 250 songs if your music is WMA format. The Main ... ...player. The Samsung Mp3 player was bought from Argos at £29.99 which I thought was a bargain at that moment in time. However, nowadays you'd hardly find this Mp3 player in the shops as they've been discontinued suggesting that Samsung are not manufacturing them anymore. I did look at some major electrical shop websites to see how much the Mp3 player is costing nowadays to my surprise, the Mp3 player is no longer sold in Argos, Comet, Currys, P.C ...

...be forgiven for thinkign that Samsung have made the YP-U2 overly complicated, but you'd be wrong. The YP-U2 is suprisingly easy to control, while - due to the size - the controls can be 'fiddly'. The front of the player has a 5 button navigation syste: Track +/-, Volume +/- and a menu quick access button.
On the bottom of the device is the headphone jack and 'Lock' slider (I definately reccomend you use the lock feature if you've got other items ... ...for example to lean on the buttons and cause the volume or track to change (terribly annoying when you're on a packed commuter train and have to try and get into your pocket inspite of the oversized gentleman to your left). The top of the player contains the 'power/pause' button and the start/stop recording button.
Considering it's size the recording quality is suprisingly good, I accidently began recording when it was in my pocket, got home and ...

The samsung ypu2 rxb mp3 player is a fantastic mp3 player which has great looks and features and a better then average sound quality . The looks The samsung yp u2 mp3 player has great looks . It is quite slim and has a nice shiny black colour and it has a glass usb cover which has a light in so when you are listening to music it will flash blue which is really cool . When i bought this it was in argos for about £30 but he picture in the argos catalog ... ...10 months ago since then samsung have produced a new mp3 player at about the same price range to take this ones place the samsung ypu3 so this one is not in argos anymore or any other big name shops but you could easily get from most online shops or even a official samsung product store which will probarly sell them . People on ebay will most likely be selling them What are the features?
It has a built in radio direct usb charging no batteries neede ...

Advantages: 14h battery life, FM Radio, Fast file transfer from and to PC/laptop Disadvantages: Does not pick up sound when recording speech from say 10m distance & Memory of 512MB
...What I really like about Samsung YP-U2RXB is that it has FM tuner with RDS. I can record my own and other people's voices :) However, the recording will be of a poor quality if you try to record say a lecture in the university. It will be quite hard to hear anything at all.
Another plus which I quite like about this MP3 is that it is WMA and DRM 9 compatible.
The MP3 comes with straight forward manual, USB cable, headphones and software supplied. ... ...Overall.. I am quite pleased with the sound quality, ease of use, design and all the functions this MP3 has. I think its a great value for money and therefore I would recommend it to the potential buyers.
You can use it as a pen drive, as a memory stick if you decide to buy iPod or something later on! ...

...install the software, including a samsung media player, which is really useful. A blue led flashes on/off which looks really good, but if you don't like it you can change the settings to led off or led on when button pressed. Theres an equaliser in there which makes this mp3 even better. The mp3 also comes with excellent quality earphones which excert brilliant sound.
Overall this is a brilliant mp3 and i would reccommend anyone to but it. ...

I purchased this item at the end of May 2006, and I was so glad I made that move! The best thing about this MP3 Player is that there's no batteries needed! Simply pop it in a USB slot in your computer or laptop, and it's charged within 15 minutes, plus this lasts very long, I haven't had a moment yet, since May 2006 to January 2007 it's NEVER run out of battery life! Plus when my brother brought a Sony MP3 player at a more expensive price than what ... ...with the exact same song and wow, this MP3 boasts it superb clear, sound quality. The software provided is so simple to use, and when you want to transfer a song from your computer to the player, just copy and paste the file. I got this MP3 player for Christmas, and I can't put it down. On my other MP3 player, the volume wasn't very loud at all, but on this one it goes extremely loud, just the way I like it! The buttons are easy to use and there aren't too many either so you don't get confused. I get confused very easily, so this MP3 player is a god send! It shows you how much memory you have left when you turn it on as well which is handy. It has a built in battery which ... ...Computer. This is done without any cables, which is such a great thing. Cables just get in the way and are a nuisance. You just plug in and go with this MP3 player. Brilliant. The fact that it is a built in battery means that you don't need to go out every week to buy new batterys, which can be extremely annoying. I love this MP3 player so much! It looks great, sounds great and...is just great! Buy it people!! ...
