Look into the blue light! Sandisk Sansa M240 1 GB MP3 Player

Advantages: great sound quality, plenty of functions, simple, easy to use, nice display colour!
Disadvantages: occasional 'crashes', mine won't transfer files any more :-(

...years ago I bought a Sandisk Sansa M240 1 GB mp3 player from Amazon, it was quite a bargain price, seemed pretty simple and straightforward, which was ideal for me as I had never had one before, and didn't require many bells and whistles, and it came with all the headphones, cables, and driver disks you need to begin use. Mine also came with a clear silicon case to protect it. It is light, it is small, and it works well. For a budget mp3 player I ...
...good too. I hooked it up to my pc with the supplied cable, and copied over a my Learn German series so I could listen to them anywhere, learning the language subliminally perhaps, and this has also worked very well. It actually will store up to 16 hours of mp3 tracks, or double if they're in wma format. I like to make up playlists in Windows Media Player on my PC, then transfer them across, couldn't be simpler, just drag and drop! It takes one AAA ...

A good reliable MP3 player

Advantages: Easy to use, voice recorder, and many other features
Disadvantages: Could have been slightly smaller

I purchased this player from Asda, priced 24.99pounds. I believe it can be bought cheaper but the average price is 20-25pounds. Its very good value for money, considering its a 1gb player. I found I could easily fit 15 albums on it. The Good; For an mp3 player, its light in weight and silver and white in colour- It comes with a clear plastic case- excellent for keeping the player in as-new condition. Theres also a handy arm band. Using the plastic ...
...around the top of your arm and there you have it, the player is now handsfree! The blue back-light is ace! Very bright- which looks great in the dark. A fantastic feature, which I haven't found in alot of players is that the player has an equaliser where you can customise the settings to change the sound of the music. Features a voice recorder with a built in mic, and has the facilities to play songs in random, repeat your favourites or play all ...

Sandisk Sansa M240 1GB MP3/WMA Player

Advantages: Lightweight, Simple to use, Battery life Intuititive Menu Structure, Unique shape
Disadvantages: flimsy cover for my liking, Sandisk could have supplied a lanyard to put this player on

...shape, a pair of white Sandisk branded headphones, a plastic cover and elasticated strap to attach to your arm (when excercising) the usual cable and cd with drivers. The player itself has the usual buttons to play/pause, next track, previous track, ability to repeat, and a large white button i the middle that acts like the execute button. On the sides, there are the on/off button (long press to switch off) and the volume up and down switch. On ...
...which is pretty good. Sandisk would have done better by building in a rechargable battery into this player. However, having a changable battery makes it more flexible if you're away from a computer for a long time. The battery cover is a little flimsy for my liking. Don't get me wrong, it won't fall off, but i would keep the player in the supplied plastic cover jus to be safe. The screen on this has an electro illuminescent screen, which makes it ...

Quick review of SanDisk Sansa M240 1 GB

Very nice little player - sounds great, simple, absolutely no annoyances at all! Replaced a much more expensive one of a different make that I never liked due to internal Li-Ion battery life being poor, fiddly controls and having to use special software. The Sansa has a nice big 4 way pad with a button in the middle. 1AAA battery lasts ages and can be replaced in seconds on the move rather than having to charge for hours and it plugged in to my Windows XP computer without having to load software. If I had to find one thing to criticise I suppose they could have made it a tad thinner. ...

Review of SanDisk Sansa M240 1 GB

Overall, a good MP3 Player

Advantages: Low Price, FM Radio, high quality voice recorder, supports lots of media types, nice controls
Disadvantages: Bigger than most players, poor backlight

I was a bit sceptical when I first decided to buy this player. The price is quite cheap and lacks a couple of features that my previous player had supported. However, when I recieved this player, I was extremely happy with it. I even tried out a subscription based music download site, which the player supports. Unfortunatly, the player doesn't have a rechargable battery inside, instead it takes AAA batteries (although rechargable ones are available). ...
...USB, which I think is much better as im next to a computer most of the time and saves on battery prices. This may not be a problem to most people. Also the player cannot be upgraded with memory cards which is also a slight let down. Being able to accept a memory card (such as an SD card) is also a feature that I had been used to, but with a 1GB mp3 player, aslong as you don't expect to listen to thousands of songs, isn't that bad. The controls ...
