Although I do accept placebo effect may have also been at play there.
There are no contra-indications mentioned with these vitamins and although the packaging does not make any statements ...

Advantages: Cheaper than some natal tablets Disadvantages: Can make you really blocked up
...decided that the slightly cheaper Sanatogen Pro Natal were better as they were cheaper, she did not read the label.
After a few days of taking them she became “blocked up” and was quite uncomfortable. Anyway I read the label and they contained over 400%, yes 400%, of the recommended daily intake of iron! Needless to say it is a pretty good guess that this was what was causing her problems especially as she knows from her previous pregnancy, that ... ...to normal. She has now bought some Superdrug Natal and everything is doing fine. She has however wasted about £5.00 on something that did her no good at all. If you are sensitive to iron please be very wary of the Sanatogen Pro Natal tablets. ...

If your trying to concive or pregnant or nursing we all know you need extra vitamins ,well this is one of the best I have found on the market ,
It contains low levels of vitamin A which is not recomended during pregnancy plus it contains the right amount of folic acid that you need during these times and extra calcium too all with the added plus of a multi vitamin complex and a multi mineral complex too so you know your getting everything you need ...
