Advantages: Light weight, lots of features and high quality sound Disadvantages: none i can think of
I had wanted a new MP3 player for a while with a large memory and storage space. My partner managed to get me this MP3 player off the internet fairly cheap. It does have a lot of space and I have still not managed to fill it with my many tracks.
I was pleased to see that I had a San Disk MP3 player. From past experience I knew they were a good make because they create the camera disks and memory sticks. I have had a few of these San Disk products ... ...also looked like an I pod and was different to my other older MP3 players. The MP3 player is small in size and is easy to fit in my pocket, it also very lightweight so is easy to carry. It is about the size of a debit card and as it is so thin is easy to fit in most pockets. Whilst like the shape and size I prefer my bullet shaped MP3 player as it was smaller. Although the MP3 player looks like an I-Pod it is somewhat larger in depth. The I Pod is ...

Advantages: Much easier to use than ipod/itunes, better sound, better software Disadvantages: Not as many accessories as ipod
Prior to purchasing this MP3 player, I had an ipod nano. I didn't dislike the ipod, but I hated itunes. I find it amazing that Apple have gone out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to add or remove music from an MP3 player.
The Sansa on the other hand is simplicity itself, when it is plugged into your computer, it is seen as any other storage device, and music is added or removed by simply sending music to the item, or deleting it, ... ...is that it has a slot for a micro SD card, I have a 2GB card installed, which boosts the memory to 6GB for only the cost of the card. Unfortunately, my Sansa being a couple of years old, will not accept the newer and larger SDHC card, so 2GB is my maximum, I do not know if the newer Sansa's take the SDHC card, but if they do, these cards are available in much larger sizes.
With the 6GB I have available, I have 1500 songs on my player.
The Sansa ...

Advantages: Fantastic look and navigation. Upgradeable. Disadvantages: Small amount of noise when using controls
The sandisk sansa e260 is a wonderfull player. I recently purchased this item because i was looking for a flash player due to last mechanical mp3 player breaking (probably due to my active lifestyle). At first i had my heart set on an Ipod nano, its features and flashed based storage had won me over.
On the day i was to purchase the nano, i came accross the sandisk sansa. Its looks screamed at me. And when i read its features i was smitten.
Features:
... ...To keep the look, sandisk include a small pouch with all of the players which is a nice touch.
Navigation:
Navigation is fantastic however there is one small annoyance. This is that the buttons can be hard to press as they are quite small and pushed against the raised wheel.
Sound:
Sound quality is good when playing the music however on occasion, you will hear some interferance when using the controls. This only lasts about 3 seconds but it can ...

Advantages: Easy to use, nice looking, stylish and it works well! Disadvantages: So far: only complaint is the pouch could be bigger
I bought my Sansa e260 about six weeks ago having absolutely no idea why I should have one or how to use one, my son informed me I needed one as I travel quite a bit and can't always use my little radio. So when this little beauty arrived I was overjoyed. It is so easy to use, even for a 50-odd year old!, A lovely blue scroll wheel and clear bright screen. I have downloaded a couple of videos, some photos and a few CD's so far and have loads of space ... ...being a little larger or having a velcro flap to keep it in it.
All in all, love it, glad my son told me I needed one as now I won't be without it. It is a good buy compared to the Apple Ipod which I also looked at briefly - but decided it was too expensive. I also have no problems with the earpieces, they are fine. ...

Advantages: battery life, reliability, recording features, screen......etc. Disadvantages: only one disadvantage - no fm radio
I have had my sandisk sansa e260 for almost 2 years, and I still love it!
It is really easy to use, and has proved to be a solid, reliable player; it has never crashed at all unlike friends i-pods.
Battery life if very good, as is the sound quality. It also plays back videos very well- which is helped by the size of the screen.
The recording feature, through its inbuilt microphone is very handy.-and is much better than can be found on many other ...

Advantages: Bright screen, expation slot, video player Disadvantages: Video player isn't perfect
I came across this product when I was searching for an MP3 player than could play video, (my music collection is pretty small).
When the sansa e260 arrived I was dazzled by the glowing scroll wheel, when lit up, it looks amazing on the sleek body design.
The main bonus, to me, was the microSD expansion slot, which I used to store my videos.
As yet, I have yet to find a major draw back, the screen is easily bright enought even on half brightness, ... ...small niggles I did find, however were; the inablility to fast forward very far in a video without the player exiting to the menu, the radio tuner isn't enabled if bought in the EU (as far as I am aware, if it's there, I can't find it!), and the headphones which were supplied could have been better (they worked but they were quiet and since I got new headphones I have noticed better sound quality)
The software included was very good, it converted ...

Advantages: Attractive and Sleek, Allows SD card Disadvantages: Can be noisy at times
...the market as i type! Sandisk gloat about their screen and how it has 1.8 TFT color screen. They also boast about how easy their interface is. Honestly, at first i didn't really approve of it but after i got used to it i didn't want to stop pressing buttons.
Also, you can add a SD card onto the MP3 so the capactiy of music can be your choice. It origially comes in 2GB,4GB,6GB or 8GB.
Overall 9/10
