I got the E280 for xmas 2007 so I've had a good 4 months to get used to it and I can say that it is a very good mp3 player. The interface is very easy to use and putting music on there is just a simple case of drag and drop, brilliant! It does get more confusing when you want to add films but after a few goes you'll get the hang of it. The video player is good, I do find the screen a bit small for movies but a good size for animations like Simpsons ...

I often get it randomly crashing either when I am listening to music or when I am copying music to it and, even though I have unplugged it from my computer, it still says "writing" and may well stay like that for a long time. The Sansa e280 is a fantastic little MP3 player on first impressions. The player is stylish, and has a fantastic menu layout. However I must get the small amount of flaws out of the way first; the videos lack quality and are fuzzy, so if you want this especially for videos, maybe look at a Creative or an iPod. The sound quality is excellent and comes with a customisable EQ to ge the sound just right. The menu system is good and complemented well by the I-pod style scroll wheel.
