Advantages: Bagless,light and not a lot more. Disadvantages: Poor quality,hard to use and clean.
...I decided to buy the Sanyo cylinder 1500 cleaner.
I eagerly waited its arrival and was extremely surprised when it did come, the box was small and it hardly weighed anything at all, hmmm, now wondering if I had actually mad a wise choice I unpacked my new vacuum.

The vacuum is of average size for a cylinder cleaner, blue with a clear front and a long hose which holds 2 tools, one for vacuuming edges and gaps and the ... ...a bag would probably be a lot easier than not after all!
I would expect more really for a trusted name as Sanyo and although it wasn’t expensive it certainly wasn’t the cheapest around at £69,so of you see this little blue machine, think twice before taking him home!… ...

...because he brought me a Sanyo 1500 Bagless.
After my initial disappointment at having received a vacuum cleaner for Christmas I had a good look at it and it didn’t seem too bad. It looked neat and compact and it didn’t need bags, which was good. The instruction leaflet was terrible, in that way that badly translated instructions always are - quite amusing but not very helpful. I don’t really like cylinder cleaners but this one was light (it only ... ...generally rubbish! I phoned the Sanyo help line (my troubles with the Sanyo help line are a different story altogether and one which leaves me inclined to rant rather a lot, suffice to say I’m about as impressed with them as I am with their product!) Their engineer checked it over and gave it a clean bill of health!
I note that Argos no longer stock this model although Index still do and I can’t help wondering if there is a real problem with it. ...

...machine. But, why have a Sanyo when you can have a dyson?
NOISE
The machine is noisy, but it seems to be a healthy noise which makes me feel that it's doing its job! But, it will wake the whole house!
OVERALL
Don't buy it. Buy a dyson instead. The competition's intensifying with these machines now as all manufacturers are producing them. My advice is to stick with a traditional make (Hoover are in the bagless game now) ro go for Dyson (Who originally ...
