Advantages Advantages Widescreen, 3D Nicam stereo, well designed, price

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sound quality could be better

I recently had to buy a replacement television set and decided to upgrade from a traditional television ‘square box’ picture format to a widescreen model. Price was an important factor since my budget couldn’t stretch to a plasma or LCD screen. For £279 I managed to settle on a Nicam stereo 28” Widescreen television by Sanyo. This seemed to be a sensible compromise, trading off value and quality. I don’t really watch too much television to justify spending anything above a few hundred pounds. Rather than buy from a high street retailer, I searched the Internet and found a leading discount UK ... more

Advantages Advantages Stylish, good picture, price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages sound quality

I was looking for my first widescreen television and, after a very poor experience with a Toshiba from Comet which eventually went back for a full refund, I settled on this television from Powerhouse. I am no expert and I had not got a lot of money to spend. Advantages Advantages Easy to Use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Extremely Heavy

I have been through so many different television sets over my time and hadn't really considered buying a widescreen TV until recently. I logged onto curry's website and they had a web only offer. I ordered it and the TV came within 2 weeks. It was easy to set up with all the points on the back of the TV clearly marked. I have Sky and to install Sky was as easy as making toast! I installed all the necessary wires and let the TV do it's thing. It managed to install all the right TV channels on the right numbers automatically which was extremely handy. The TV set has a number of features ... more

Advantages Advantages good TV nothing bad about it really

Disadvantages Disadvantages not enough SCART ports to go around

I've had one of these for a long while and frankly..it's brilliant, i've had no problems, it's good size...no fancy madiggy feature that you never use...just the bare needs and no frills, works with all forms of media...form DVD to games consoles..and still works with the good old VHS...great value for what is. Over all i'd reccomend it to anyone thinking of buying a good big screen TV...and if your on a budget then this is great for that. Best to shop around to find the best one but i got mine from dixons so i'd say with those guys Of course with most good things...there are bad...there are ... more
