“Pay now. Deliver ?????”

None at all

Kitchen will not be delivered and MFI will try to ...

In May this year (2007) my wife and I visited the MFI store in Leamington Spa to look for a new kitchen. We'd been to a number of other stores and had yet to see a kitchen that we both liked. After a good browse around the store we finally agreed that we both liked a kitchen called the 'Callisto'...

“Worth it in the end”

Cheap, look good when finished

damaged items, poor safter sales service

We'd had MFI flat pack kitchens in our previous three properties and this time decided we'd save time getting the ready assembled. What a mistake! The first delivery had to be sent back - even the delivery driver didn't think it worth trying to unload - as some of the units had been crushed...

After many long weeks renovating our house(the one in which we live), We spent days and days going round all our local kitchen companys. I did not want to go to b&q or mfi, i wanted a real kitchen. Alas, we ended up at our local mfi. It's not often I am moved to making coments about people or...

I spent just over £5000 on my kitchen from MFI. The changes the company have made following the recent year of bad losses seems to be helping. A room full of cabinets and appliances arrived on schedule, no damages, everything is well packaged. The delivery guys put the stuff were I asked them to...

Not for me

Not Impressed. The planning went well, the fitting was by cowboys, joints in the work tops were left open and warped, they drilled through electric cables in the wall. Now some 18months later there are handles that are rusty and one of the laminate draw fronts has blown up due to water ingress. Are MFI intrested ? No only in charging full price for replacement parts.

Not for me

Our MFI SCHREIBER kitchen was expensive (almost 10k all in all) and in less than 3 years has been falling apart. The fitted larder fridge has broken including the door and seals, the freezer has broken, drawers constantly fall apart, handles are falling apart, had to repair the oven (engineer costs £90 per hour plus parts). The sink drain is leaking and I cannot find the parts to repair it as the plug is one of those remote knob operated contraptions, etc, etc, etc, in short: WHAT A PILE OF OLD TAT

Ciao is a consumer review site and does not sell any products. If you are looking for a 15 year old piece of Schreiber furniture I suggest you try eBay or set up a "Wanted" request on Freecycle or Friday Ad or Gumtree.
